This is what happens when you are in a rush to install your icon rxt pack after working 10 hours so you forget to chock your front tires.
    Don’t be like me

On a positive there was zero damage done to my truck, although I’m pretty sure i took a couple years off my life.. i was under the truck when i heard a creak and got the hell out of there

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS put your tire under your truck as insurance... probably saved my life and my truck

DiamondBack SE smooth...Loose tie downs. The great thing about the diamondBack for me is...they are a 10 minute drive from my house and i will put it on right in the parking lot. Don't need to wait on shipping or getting damaged in shipping.

I'll put up some pic's when installed.
No Tires yet:(... Still cant pick one and now debating with myself on the size. :boom:

    for anyone who was interested

I removed my +2 shackles and went back to oem, this is icon rxt pack on option 2, I have about 300-400# in the bed. These leaves are smooth as butter! Still a touch high for my liking but I’m sure it will settle soon

Do they do installs? If they did the drive is not that bad for me. I could drive there and have them put it on it would be quicker. I agree chance with shipping getting damaged.

Not the one I bought. I test drove a Magnetic Gray TRD Pro
CM that a local dealer had on the lot (for less than a day). I put about 6-8 miles on it. Soon as I pulled off the lot and the wife heard the exhaust, she was like "You gonna buy it?" with a big grin on her face. That's when I started looking for a Lunar Rock CM.

Mine had 4 miles on it when I picked it up.

I almost forgot, the dealer that I test drove the Magnetic Gray Pro at has a LR CM scheduled to be built tomorrow. :) The salesman was supposed to be "holding" it for me, but wouldn't take any $$ down. One of the reasons I quit dealing with them. IF he's still "holding" it for me (BIG IF), its available, if anyone's interested. Here's the paperwork he sent me a couple weeks ago. Dealer is Toyota West in Columbus, OH. PM me for the salesman's name, if they say they're holding it. Hope this helps someone get in one.

Weird - Just got word that one I had talked about across town was in yesterday as well.

I actually LIKED TW when I was in CBus...of course this was prior to Germain changeover.

First person I contacted was a salesperson who helped me there last time...but never heard back from her.

FWIW - it seems like every Toyota dealer in Central Ohio got a round of newly allocated Pros - as I strangely got calls from 4 different in the past 2 weeks asking if I was interested in putting down a deposit (declined - got one lined up locally and have a backup plan with a dealer in Ohio already if I can't find what I want by late June).

I've got almost 1,000 miles on my LR Pro and its time to put some real tires on! I've read through almost all of the pages here on the LR thread and there seems to be some conflicting information on best size to avoid any rubbing. I'm coming from a heavily modified Tacoma and went through all of the cutting, chopping, welding and remolding. I'll be keeping the LR Pro at the stock height for at least the first 15,000 miles and was hoping for your advice based on the following information:
    • Stock ride height but of course want a tire that will fill out the wheel well more, what's the biggest size?
    • Year round tire for Northeast (I've driven the KO2 for several years but have also read lots of great reviews on the Ridge Grapplers)
    • 80% highway driving with the rest being rural backroads
I'd love to hear what you've all done and any advice you can offer.

Stock wheels, stock height, no spacers. I’ve got 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeaks and only removed the front little flap. They are close to the UCA (~3/4”) but don’t hit. At a full lock turn, they bump up against the front sway bar just a touch. In a mix of snow, ice, wet pavement, and dirt/mud on primitive roads they’ve been great, and are comparable in sound (to me) to the factory tires…the exhaust is louder than the tires. I’m happier with them in my driving conditions for the past 10k miles than I was with KO2s in similar conditions.

That’s just what I have…can’t say it’s right or wrong. I’d like to have a little more UCA clearance, but am not willing to do wheel spacers right now

I’ve been going over and over this myself. To be fair, my LR doesn’t get here until 5/10, but I’m having the dealership put 275 70 KO2’s on the minute is gets off the truck. 295 70 looks to work in MOST cases, but i would be the one in 100 that didn’t fit and rubbed, and I just don’t want to mess with it. I’ve run KO2’s on my SR5 OR for the last couple of years and really enjoyed them. I did see where 285 70 fit really well, but there aren’t a lot of companies that offer a tire that size. Hope this helps.

    Similar to my situation...
    I think I'm going to order 285 70 18 Ridge Grapplers...
I have the same tire/size on my current Tundra (with mods) and like them alot. I've had them in the snow just a few times and they were ok but I have dedicated snows .. I'm going to order them soon so they arrive before my truck gets here.
    Good luck!!

The install wasn’t bad at all. Hardest part was lining up everything. If you have some buddy’s buy them some beer for an extra hand, if you don’t invest in a come along to help pull the axle to line up the eyelets. Don’t forget to chock your wheels

A little update on my Luna Rock. My built date was 4/21/21 & the dealership has a ETA of 5/17/21. That’s what my salesman said this morning, so fingers crossed! I already have my lift, front coil overs, & tires. I just ordered my wheels yesterday.
