I'm assuming we ordered from same dealership. Mine arrived last night, build date 2/24...Went to look at it today. More impressive in person...

 

Man, these all look so good and it's nice to see the orders starting to trickle in for delivery. I'm ~ 5 weeks out and cannot wait.

 

When is your build date?

 

It was supposed to be 3/26 originally but I believe it's 4/5-6 currently. Delivery shows 4/30 as of today.

 

Love the photo. Where was it taken? Looks like western Alberta or British Columbia somewhere, or PNW.

 

Mine was Mar29 and now April 1st. Is the build date.

 

How did it turn out?

Wow, that's crazy you have a build date before mine. I placed my order end of January and my updated build date is May 5th. Originally it was April 26th. I hope you get your truck soon, but I wonder how they figure out all the build dates, etc. My dealer said my arrival date could possibly not be until July. Are you close to TX? I'm in the Mass, so maybe that is why it could take so long. Good luck!!!

 

I ordered mine in October...received this week.

Part of it is regional, part of it is the dealer allocation of the dealer you are working with, and part of it seems to be flat out luck.

 

Awesome! Great to see people taking delivery. I guess 5 months is turning into the standard. It'll be worth the wait.

 

I’m in NC. I think I got lucky that the dealership had this Tundra coming and it was not pre sold. I actually updated my build options this morning. My salesman said he would get back to me Monday & see what options I can or can not take off. Best of luck on yours!

 

I don’t think it will take that long going forward, at least pending the outcome of the global shipping situation in the Suez Canal. I believe that was the standard, based on the confluence of COVID related shortages in 2020. Hopefully things will pick up, now that production has actually resumed.

 

Looking over my allocation from the dealer they had this pro coming in. And looking over the email my salesman sent me with my spec sheet the date on that was Feb16 and there giving me build date April 1st. But this don’t mean it could get pushed back. All I know when I was at my dealer the other day they had LunaRock Tacoma and my salesman said all there on order delivery has been on time. That Tacoma was sold.

 

any cutting involved or will they fit like a prom dress?

 

Haha, for some, they are the southern Rockies! Beautiful part of the world either way. Went by there a while back on my way to Wyoming to pick up a Bobcat, love it.

 

Anyone around nashville...Beaman Toyota has a Lunar Rock coming in. It says in transit and window sticker is $55k

Does anyone know how many Lunar Rock Tundras will be produced this year? I’ve been trying to find the topic somewhere on these forums with no luck.

So far I’m in Pa and I have not seen a LunaRock tundra in my citing. Only Tacoma in LunaRock. Your going to be lucky to see a tundra driving around in this color.

 

I do feel lucky...and way cooler than everyone else...hahaha!!

Ha! Not necessarily. I was the guy in Cali willing to go buy it anywhere just to get one. You never know where that beauty will go.

I've only spotted a Rav4 in lunar rock here is SoCal, and I've only seen two other Tundra TRD Pros ever - one Super White and the other Army Green. Both very sexy.

 

Installed the OEM bed emblems yesterday. I love the way it balanced out the red tail insert and think it looks pretty good. It's unique. Ordered the ARE Z series cap, BedRug, gun safe from Lockerdown, scheduled window tinting. Now onto tires, grille lights, and maybe chrome delete inside. Good thing my wife has a new sign for her freeway entrance place of business.

Anyone have thoughts on line-x and BedRug, or go with just straight BedRug? My baby's bed is naked right now.
