Took my baby to get some mascara done today! Tint came out as expected.

 

Okay pretty please, I need more info here. What percentage? (we live in the land of regulation in Cali, so what and why did you go with it) Second, where??? Happy with it, good service??

 

I had it done at Southbay Tint in Torrance. Appointment only and took an hour. Excellent service I just did the front 2. $75 per window so $150 total.

15% I went with the Llumar IRX (Lifetime Warranty) which is better then the 3M's except for the cyrstalline but that doesn't come in dark tint and wanted it to match yet be a little lighter then the rear passenger windows.

It's a fix it ticket, 2nd is $25. My wife has Melanoma so need to get a sticker from her doctor just in case.

 

Looks good!! I will be having my front to match when I get my Pro.

 

That looks awesome! I’m getting the “Toyota” Inlay package for the bed stamp today and I was curious about something. Does anyone know what the Toyota Inlay Colors are? I’ve seen a lot of “black only” inlays but I like the look of the Red TRD and black Pro. I normally wouldn’t be too concerned but this dealership has been screwing things up left and right. They didn’t even give me my tundra spray in bedliner. It looks aftermarket...

Did you get to see your spec sheet? It shows if it was on there. So did you pay for it and the truck came in and it was not done?

 

I’m waiting on mine. I was able to get my dealer to remove the predator steps and the door ding strips. I did not want those 2 items. They removed them because my truck is not built yet. I’m just getting the spray in bed liner.

 

Correct. They completely screwed up my order. I did not get to see the official line item from a typical specs sheet. He hand wrote it on my spec sheet that they owed me an inlay package and a cargo safe.

 

Hopefully they get it right!!

 

Yeah, the problem is, that I don’t know what the correct colors actually are. I’ll have to do some more research and find out before they put it on today.

Most that I seen the guys do them on their own. There are tons of colors on Amazon.

 

I believe if he hand wrote your spec sheet for your LunaRock and put down the inlays for the Tacoma they are probably black. I don’t recall seeing accessory for the red letters on the Toyota site inlays.

 

I believe if there is a 3rd offense you take it back to where you got it done. They remove it free but charge you to get lighter tint. If that happens I'll bump to 20% and so on hahaha

 

Colors for the Inlay option for the TRD Pros. I found out that the Toyota Inlays have TRD in red and PRO in black. It also includes the Tundra stamp in black on the tailgate. I just wanted to confirm so my dealership wouldn’t try to screw me with some aftermarket Inlay. They do have the correct ones and it will be installed on my truck today. I will post pictures this weekend.

 

The factory doesn’t offer that bed side inlay, only the tailgate. SouthEast Toyota regional distribution has one they offer, which can also be bought from a few of their dealerships. So there really isn’t a “factory correct” color scheme, and anything you get in the bed side is going to be “aftermarket”

Well I just talk to my guy at Toyota. He said they are not going to make a whole production run for 2021. That means everybody with Luna rock trucks on the ground and in the system for verified orders are the only ones that are going to get 21s. This is good news my friend that means I’m gonna get 58K for my truck and just a few months. I’m gonna order the new 2022 in July. I love me some Toyota as long as it’s going to have more Power on the pro I’m going to get it and maybe put off the TRX for a while.

Sounds good!! You will probably have to wait 2023 for the Pro. I don’t think Toyota makes a first year Pro.

 

That’s incorrect sir. My guys at classic Toyota in Tyler are already foaming at the mouth to get my lunar rock Pro.
I’ll have my 2022 in August but like anything this could change..

 

In July they’ll be driving the new pros. And he’s going to send me a picture and all the new specs

For us down here in the south GST (Gulf State Transit) is where we get all of our “factory” options put on. If you were to go onto Toyotas website to build your own truck it shows the inlay packages for the side of the truck in red and black. The link you sent me confirms the color scheme they’re doing down here. That’s the exact product that I’m getting put on my truck today. That’s pretty interesting that they could potentially be doing different inlay packages based on region. Is anyone else noticing this or are most people ordering off Amazon?

 

I bought mine from TuffSkinz and would bet that's who makes the ones offered by the regional distributors. Up here in PNW, they aren't offered as an option.

my truck came out of that vpc. Not really sure why mine came the color they did. The salesman and sales manager were surprised to see my color scheme

after looking at the link that Rainman sent earlier it looks like there are two choices. Red/Black and Gunmetal/Black. I guess the dealership can choose either...
