They are chintzy with the options. LOL I was remembering that I paid 54 for my army green truck and got that option but I forgot I nearly got $3000 off MSRP in 2020.

 

Get ready for even less inventory, the seat foam shortage is coming, AND a chip factory owns by Renesas caught on fire to add to the agony of chip shortage.

 

Well boys it’s probably about time to trade my lunar Rock in for a dodge TRX hellcat!
Unless Toyota comes out with a three-quarter ton diesel that’s my next truck. At least I’ll get a shitload of money for mine. Toyota is the best I just wish it had more power

 

Harrop, there's one member reaching same whp as TRX with smaller pulley and VFtuner tuning.

TRX is awesome, I would just wait a bit to make sure the transfercases are doing ok, I know they updated the transfercase belt as the original Trackhawk were having issue with them breaking.

 

I paid $4K ADM over options. More than I was getting from others on deposit but it was in front of me and available in my own location. No worries about transport, documents, taxes, etc. Plus, a little worried with how things crazy are that a deposit on an "allocation" that isn't even in build yet may not have meant anything. I will say the Irving Toyota in Texas was simply stellar to work with!!!!! I let go of my hold as first in line 2 days ago if anyone wants to contact them. Regarding the price, it's a first world problem to me and I won't miss it over 10 years of owning the truck I want. All good.

 

I thought about the Ram hard, but in the end the reliability factor weighed in heavily. I do like the Raptors too. Good luck!

Plus that hellcat Truck is blowing GT Mustang’s away
And I don’t drive a truck that long so that’s not a big concern

 

Hellcat engine is relatively reliable, it's actually amazingly reliable for the power it produces, it also weights close to 800lbs when dressed.

Oh, and say hello to single digit mpg, I think I got 7mpg for one tank.

At least you can't put it in 2wd, I cannot imagine how short the tires would live if you can do burn outs.

 

My old lady gets on my ass all the time because I’m constantly trade in my trucks for the next newest model. It’s like I tell her I don’t care cause I’m 60 now and if I’m gonna have fun I might as well have fun before I’m too old

That's the car that turned me on to Lunar Rock.........AMAZING vehicle. The dealership I saw it at was asking $15K over MSRP. I vomited and walked away. So pretty though.

 

I've worked too hard, especially getting to where I am, not to get what I want!!!!! My wife of 26 years of marriage thankfully understands this completely.

 

Which dealer is the 4runner at?

Hey I do the same. But I also do it with all the Pro’s I buy. I’m about numbers and when it comes to Toyota’s pro trade in value you can do that. I have guys mouth drop open and cannot believe how much I get for trade in with my Pro. I’m trading my 2020 AG 4runner pro in and getting almost what I paid. There is another guy on here just did that with his AG pro.

 

$15k over sticker? holy crap. i paid invoice for my last 6 Toyotas (3 Tacomas, 3 Tundras) and the fact that i'm paying full sticker for the Pro i'm picking up next week is haunting me. $15k+?..... you gotta want it really badly and have zero pride for that to work.

 

That's what I thought!!! I was okay going a little over MSRP for my Tundra, a tough to find vehicle with excellent resale value, but 15? Good lord. I told the guy I loved the 4Runner but wouldn't come anywhere near that price and without missing a beat he said, "That's okay, someone else will. Is there anything else I can show you?"

 

I finally got mine after waiting almost five months. To top it off they didn’t add any of the options either which really ticked me off. It did give me an opportunity to buy my own sidesteps and tires which is cool. The dealership is also picking up my truck tomorrow to add some of the options. It’ll be completely finished by the end of the weekend. Even though the experience with the dealership was horrible, I’m still very excited to have it.

my local dealer sold one earlier this winter (Nova Scotia) no idea where it went but haven’t seen it since. Lunar rock looks very good on the 4runner IMO
