I’ve always wanted to ride Big Sky.

seems about 50k is when the rotors start to get a bit out of true, especially if you drive a lot of curvy hills and like to brake hard… mine are starting to do the same.

It's an awesome mountain and I was lucky to hit it after a decent amount of fresh snow. Not Utah totals (alta just broke their all-time high, 750+ inches and it's still snowing so I zoomed home to shovel) but still great riding for March. I didn't pay the extra 80 bucks for the tram to the summit because visibility was horrendous and I was riding solo, but I'd love to get back there and do some tram laps and hit up Bridger on the other side of Bozeman. Next week I'll be back at Jackson hole, fingers crossed the snow keeps dumping!

Been a while since I checked in here. Looks like the LR club is still alive and active. Like @Mac5attack I've been up in the snow a bit. This weekend we hit up Central Oregon near Sisters. The Santiam pass was gnarly driving home today, but the truck handled it like a champ. Here's a couple pics from yesterday. My Lunar Rock grew some teeth.

Also, I've noticed there's a small spot in/under the paint on the passenger side door. Anyone see this before? I feel like this should be a warranty issue, but doubt Toyota will do anything about it.

Spray some iron remover on that, looks like a metallic particle landed on the paint. It should come off. Even clay bar would do it.

I'll try it. The odd part is it looks and feels like it's under the clear coat. It's hard to tell because it's in the lower part of the door where the paint isn't smooth. Does not look or feel like anything on top of the paint, more like a stain.

Didn't like the idea of rolling over 50k running errands in town, so loaded up the spring toys and booked it to the desert for pedaling and paddling. So much easier to go camping when it's not single digits

@Mac5attack you have lapped me multiple times now. I'm almost at 15k. Love this truck and drive it every day. Apparently not as far as you though.

Thankfully most of those miles are doing fun things! I've got a really bad habit about working the bare minimum. Right now I'm enjoying the truck based freedom, then I'm planning to jump on a sailboat for a couple months. I've been missing the ocean, but I'm not bold enough to take the truck to baja by myself. So that's my compromise

That sounds like a ton of fun. Baja used to be such a great place, perfect for a trip in the truck. Not anymore. I haven’t driven through since running a Baja 1000 chase truck from Ensenada to Cabo in 2007, a Gen 1 Tundra in fact.

Glad to see you held onto your truck and didn’t sell it - looks great! My wife wants a us to get a travel trailer and upgrade to a 3/4 ton to open up our options but I keep showing her YouTube videos of smaller options because I told her I’m not ready to let this thing go yet and we can sacrifice elsewhere!

Thank Troy, Its very hard not to let it go. As much as I like to go back to 4runner Pro my wife always says to me you are never happy with my Toyota. I do miss my 4runner especially the size. Everytime we go somewhere if I know it’s going to be tough to park or find a spot truck stays home and we take hers. You sound like you are in the same boat as me. Lol. Don’t you think your tundra will be enough to pull a travel trailer?

Yea I just bump the car in front and bump the car in back and then slide into the parking spot!! We are out west and there are a couple of TT builders out in the Northwest that build quality and build heavy (Northwood and Outdoors RV) and that’s what we would like to go with. I think I would only feel comfortable with a larger Lance Trailer for our trucks due to our soft suspension as there will def be some sag for anything over a 600lb hitch weight and we have e-bikes and too much crap to throw in the bed! If we go with any other trailer it would have to be smaller than what we’d like but that is where I’m leaning at this point in order to keep my truck and tow a nice trailer.

    They're growing on me...but the price isn't.
Honestly, if a Gen3 ends up in my driveway, a Sequoia front end will be the first project.

Yea ‘21 is the true collectors item in LR as far as Tundras go by let’s not forget the LR RAV4s that I would see everywhere right after saying to my wife that my LR Tundra was so special…
