Yes, I just used the Allen bolt that came with the kit, criminals don’t know what an Allen key is, they’ll use a reciprocating saw if they really want something. I’m fortunate to be able to park in my garage over night.

Bahahaha I guess I had notifications turned off. You were 100% correct. I was up in Idaho hot springing and sleeping in my truck bed at ski resorts. 2 degrees new years morning!

My work schedule shifted after the summer and I get less vacation time this year, plus I was dating a guy with a tundra and gfc, so my truck got a little less use over the past 6 months, but I'm back at it. Just rolled over 44k. Run a Mister buddy heater for a few minutes to take the chill off, and have a electric blanket plugged into a battery bank for the toes. I sleep in a -20 down bag and I've been pretty cozy!

Also I stopped posting pictures because I completely bastardized my truck with the brown topper and sr5 wheels they were free and I mounted my blizzaks on them. We've been hammered with snow in Utah this year, definitely using the 4wd a lot. It's also been 6+ months without a car wash. I'm making you guys look bad

Coworker had a LR Rav4 for a rental. He said he absolutely loves the color too. I've seen a modified Rav4 before with lift, wheels, tires in LR a while back. Looks pretty slick!

Stopped at Ihop for once a decade meal (takes that long to forget the level of service) and parked next to this lil bro.

On my way there there were three of us pulled up to a 4 way stop, me, a black tundra, and a blue tundra, all the same body type. We're taking over!

 

So I got to digging a bit yesterday/this morning out of curiosity. I had no idea that the Land Cruiser Heritage wheels were cheaper to buy than the TRD PRO wheels. Especially considering the fact, that at one point, you had to provide a VIN to get the Heritage wheels. Like....a significant price difference.

i saw that too. but i noticed the one you linked doesn't have the "PRO" tab on the outside side of the wheel along the rim thats machined down and says PRO. i've seen them sold before online, but didn't realize they sell them on toyota's site.

 

Weird. I’ve got mine listed for sale, maybe I’ll have to reconsider the selling price haha.

 

i was considering doing a straight up trade for some heritage wheels if they came out for my TRD PRO wheels. now i'm thinking i should sell them for around 25% less than new since they're still in great shape, and just buy the heritage wheels

 

Yeah mine only have 600 miles on them. Maybe I’ll just hang onto them for a bit
