Ended up finishing her up last week! Got the wescott pro lift on and I couldn’t be happier. The 305 70 18 Yokohamas clear no problem. Gas mileage is still meh…. But I hope the more I drive it it gets better! Love this thing, and I can safely say I’m done for a while! Haha

 

Looks amazing! I am picking up my Pro next week. Do you think the 305/70/18's would fit stock? Or, is the safe bet 295/70/18's?

 

Yessir they do, I just removed the front mudflap and trimmed the felt liner and I had no rubbing! These are pics without the lift.

 

Got rear ended today... Poor girl, she pretty much drove under my truck.

Not too much damage on my end, but she bent my trailer hitch. Not just gotta go through the annoying part of getting it all fixed..

 

Ask @RainMan_PNW about LR repairs. He may have heard about parts' lead times.

That sucks. Glad no one got hurt. Annoying is the appropriate feeling to getting everything fixed again.

My experience was that there wasn't any real delay on painted parts - most of them they don't offer color matched and the body shop has to do the work anyway (grill surround was the only exception). The killer was in the hidden damage once they started taking gage measurements against the factory data and found they had to do a little bit of panel tweaking and other stuff. And, for my truck, the AC condenser was the longest lead.

Plus they swore they would never markup their vehicles when I out deposit down on it…last November.

I did. Had to purchase in Michigan and had it shipped to KC where I’ll be this week.

im driving it back to TX after I leave KC. Get to compare it and decide if I’ll keep this or my lightning I picked up last weekend.

 

How do you like the lighting so far? Did you get that at MSRP?

 

I did.

I actually really enjoy it. It’s super quick, very quiet and smooth. I had to fix some initial QC issues from lazy assembly but all is good now. Infotainment at first glance is ridiculous but it’s quick and very user friendly.

Gets a lot of attention, especially loading groceries in the frunk.

Finally got my Lunar Rock and miscellaneous items installed.

Tinted glass and red vinyl added in the grille over the weekend.

 

Yeah. To those that love it, it’s awesome. I just know me, and it would be filthy in a week

if i was going to get a Gen3, a Pro LR is the only one I’d consider for sure.
