I found one brand new one in NY but they require you to be a NY resident. Been sitting there over a month.

 

Why does it matter to the dealer ?

 

I have no clue. My wife works for a NY based company but wasn't good enough lol

 

Understandable as many states want to sell the vehicle to locals only (especially a very popular vehicle) and very odd that it’s been there over a month… Might still be clearing the power steering recall?

that Is definitely not a NY rule, I had a deposit on one in NY over the summer, they had no problem selling to me. Must be the dealerships weird rule or something.

 

I know there are MA folks trying to buy Subaru's out of state to get around the Right to Repair ruling and dealerships refused. ( https://arstechnica.com/cars/2022/02/a-fight-over-the-right-to-repair-cars-turns-ugly/ ) may be its something related to that.

Has anyone color coded the cab spoiler on a Lunar Rock? been debating one but not sure how it'll look, I've so far seen them on black and red trucks and look pretty good to me.

 

I remember that you sold yours, but why do you want it back so bad again? I don't remember if you stated it in the thread.

 

I just miss the color I think. 21 easier to find than the 22, but more expensive.

You can’t find any ‘21 Pro for under $65k this one has 10k miles and was in a fender bender… Unbelievable

 

I have a hook one one. Private seller that I’m trying to get down to 60-62. It has 400 miles and he’s waiting for his super duty delivery

 

I dont see many other LR's out in the wild, much less get to park next to them.

 

God I hope the new sequoia comes in lunar rock

 

I might be in the minority, but I like current seqouia more than the new one.

 

need to see it in person, but this new Seqouia might be our next wife car. She was the current XC90 and it’s been ok, but cost for repairs and dealing with Volvo dealers has turned us off big time.

 

Oh. Don’t tell me that!! My wife has an XC60 Recharge and it has been amazing but only 6000 miles so couldn’t comment on the repairs side of it… May need to invest in an Extended Warranty

 

the electrics are probably a different beast, but I would guess the repair costs will be similarly high. When Covid hit, we didn’t drive the car much for a month and the check engine light came on. Dealer said it was both(!) batteries failing and they wanted $1200 to replace, and it also required “recalibration” so THEY had to do the work. F that I said. Car was still driving fine. It’s not just Volvo. Cars have more tech now and cost more when they fail.

we got the warranty because it was a first model year and have used it 5 times in 5 years.
