For sure. 1794 4X2 at the same dealership sticker price was $64k (had a ton of factory adds) and after dealer mods was $83k.

after tax + lic in CA you’re over $91k out the door (you want extended warranty that might get you close to $95k) for a non 4-wheel drive!!!!

Found a 21 LR with 8k miles for $61k. Has inlays, steps, liner, and tail gate lock. Going to look at it tomorrow and if I can get good trade value for the F150 it’ll be a done deal.

I have no idea. It’s just one of those things Ive regretted since selling. The f150 is great and has been good and gets good mileage but I think about my pro every day.

I think it comes down to me being unique. I drove a unique F150 but it still blends in with the other 800k on the road. I can’t get over the lunar rock color. It’s so great.

I do have a 22 platinum on order but it’s probably a ways out.

I agree on the rareness of the pro LunaRock. It would be hard or me to sell or trade it. It just stands out and especially when you get a lot of compliments on it. That means a lot of people don’t see them.

You going to end up in a 23 sequoia eventually? I see you in that thread here and there, and it’s a way better looking then the old one and to me pulls off the new body style direction better then the 22 tundra did.

I have been complimented on the F150 a few times but man people used to gawk at the tundra.

Once my dealer opens up reservation I will. I still have my old reservation for a 22 tundra pro I made at a different dealer in Austin. The 22 platinum reservation is in DFW.

im going first thing 9am tomorrow to drive it and look it over. Im a little worried they won’t offer for the f150 what I need. I have a private sale offer for 60k so that’s my target so I don’t have to pay sales tax again.

All I do is get to walk by my Pro in my garage all cleaned up. So busy working and not able to find time to add my new amber fogs. Going to try and test fit my new gator mats today to see if I like them. It’s going to my buddy’s garage tomorrow for first oil change and state inspection.

If I had to put my finger on it I sold the tundra for profit but also for features. But I don’t use them like I thought I would.

the f150 wins with the pano, sound system, cooled seats and lighting. The bed lighting, zone lighting, and active headlights are great.

the features I thought I’d use is 360 camera, memory seats, lane keep, blind spot, etc.

But I only use 360 because the f150 is harder to park than the tundra. I adjust the seats daily so the memory is useless. I forgot how much I dislike lanekeep and especially if roads are constant under construction like in SATX. Blind spot is not needed as the tundra has better visibility too. I also miss the roll down window and that damn color.

About the only reliability I question isn’t this truck specific but it’s the cylinder deactivation.

I don’t care for that long term. So I would not buy one with that engine. Having all the extra bells and whistles is not always a good thing. Some people prefer them. And some don’t. I know I can say when I get in my 21tundra Pro I don’t wish it had this and that. I took care of the biggest thing for me soundsystem. Mine has been all replaced and loving it. I don’t need cool seats. Just heated. I can go on but I’m content buying my 21 Pro and no plans to move to the new design.

In regards to features: TundraDude34 said it best about the upgrades to the ‘20-‘21 Tundras…
“Has everything you need and a lot of what you want” (or something like that) and I feel that EXACT way when I get in or talk to someone about my truck. I had an ‘18 Limited and in a 5yr period it got the cool LED headlights and leather wrapped steering wheel and the many exterior body changes over my ‘13 Limited but I feel this truck now has so much more than my ‘18 had in a shorter period of time and I really think Toyota perfected the generation and when you add the LR color it just really sets it apart from everything else (for me anyway) and I can’t see selling it anytime soon because it still brings a smile every time I walk up to it and every time I get behind the wheel…

If it has parking sensors and blind spot monitoring (us model) it would be the perfect truck for me. My sr5 had both of these options. No idea why it lacks these things .

I would add folding mirrors to the list. Have to roll down the window and fold the mirror every time I get home to fit in the garage.

I completely agree with this one. I'm not crazy about the new Tundra - hence the reason I bought a 21, but I really like the new Sequoia. I think it's the subtle changes to the grill that makes it look better. Not sure, but I definitely like the new Sequoia quite a bit.

Same thing. Didn't really expect it when I bought the truck, but the color definitely draws a lot of questions/compliments. Never really experienced it with any other vehicle I've owned. Maybe I've just had a bunch of crappy rides haha.

Same exact thing for me. Got mine in October and have about 1800 miles on it. Most of that came from one trip, still haven't used 4X4 haha.

Same exact thing, short commute to work. I traded in a 2015 Tacoma with about 55K miles for my 21 LR. Working from home for the last 2 years, I've had my 21LR for 4 months now and have 1800 miles, about 500 of which came from one trip.

Parking sensors would be nice. I consistently don't pull far enough forward because I'm nervous about tapping something hard. And more than once I've run out to wipe the back camera clean to back into a spot. But other than that, I'm glad that my truck doesn't do all the thinking for me. More fun to drive that way!

I'd put the front camera in - it's an easy setup to add, and it gives you front visibility. I can nose my license plate right up to whatever is in front of me.

Apparently used cars have dealer adds not advertised online. With the dealer package it put me into my 22 platinum price range and that I would rather have........fingers crossed no turbo issue

Ok well you’re a wiring genius (I’ve seen some of the things you’ve done!) so of course it’s EZ but for many of us it’s like a Rubik’s Cube - and now that my two oldest sons are full time in Idaho I can’t task them with it!!

I have zero issue with the backup sensor delete but having front sensors or the camera would help as that damn beautiful hood scoop makes pulling up tight to something somewhat of an adventure…
