Me too. 4 months and only at 774 miles. Going to take me a year to finish breaking it in.

How long did everyone wait to use it in 4x4?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is any need to wait. In fact, I think you're supposed to use it once a month or so to keep everything in operating shape.

22 platinum is delayed and tried picking up a lime rush 4Runner. It’s like 67-70. Found a used LR TRD pro. 250 miles on it he’s asking 69k but it’s literally bare bones. Think $61k is good ?

I couldn’t even comment… I think $61k is ridiculous given what I paid for mine, but I realize I got in before shit went nuts.

I get it. Considering I bought my first one for 58 and sold for 66, I'd probably be okay with paying the market rate but not 69k.

What did you pay Casey? I was pretty happy with 55,900 in October of ‘21 but wondering how it was a year earlier

I heard this too but also heard to wait until the break in period is over. Guess I'll give it a shot next time I'm out.

Cashed in on the crazy prices just starting with the value they have on my 298k 2008 Tundra trade in

So yeah, I also keep rigs for a while. Not much incentive for me to swap it out

10 miles a month to keep things lubricated - and not on dry pavement.

Otherwise it’s like keeping a thoroughbred in the stable and never riding it…
    What’s the point?!

    Thank you.
I just didn't want to break anything by using it too so but maybe being too cautious, I did more damage then good?

I'll definitely be using it today. Do you drive it 10 miles in both low and high?

I rarely use low. Go hit some gravel roads (or get out in the woods) and put it 4 hi and have fun. You’re exercising the transfer case and actuators.

you’ll be fine. in my 2008, I went months without using it at a time. It was still going strong at 298k miles.

But now, I use it as an excuse to spend a day out on the woods every month!

Uh oh. I still haven’t used 4H or 4L as 2wd gets me threw it all. I’m at 30k plus mikes and with all the snow we’ve had the last few weeks I keep getting excited to use it but 2wd with some weight in the bed has me scootin around just fine. I’ll find a reason to use it now that i know i should.

I certainly wouldn’t stress over it, but yes, it is listed somewhere in the user manual to use it regularly.

Buddy of mine moved from NH to TX a few years ago, hasn't put it into 4X4 in 330K miles.... just found out it was frozen. :(

I have to say for us LunaRock owners!! Out of all the Toyota trucks and 4Runners I have owned this LunaRock paint on our Pro’s man I love how it comes out after detailing it. Just added the ceramic spray today and the finish looks awesome.

I installed the tailgate lock actuator yesterday. Why is this just not installed on every tundra by default!? It’s like a $150 part. Who wouldn’t want it? Just put it on by default.

Just throwing this out for our LunaRock Pros. Has anyone added the new weather tech HP floor liners in Grey for our Pros?
