The v2 is smaller than the oem key. I never have a need for the hard key since I have a tailgate lock and I’ve knocked it out a couple of times already accidentally.

May get a lunar rock v2 then. Thought about cement but glad to hear it matches well.

Same reason I got a V2 - and I don't have my tailgate lock installed yet. But now I'm thinking I want the LR colored one instead of the cement one too. :D

I have the tailgate lock but only carry 1 key. Might as well carry the hard key on the ring too.

    You’re correct. It’s pretty close.

My Bora 1” spacers came in while I was on my camping trip. Got them installed tonight.

While I was under the truck today installing my bed light and tailgate lock harness, I dropped the spare tire and got a closer look at the back of the plug I referenced here. I also did an in-depth look at the EWDs and plug pin-outs for the BSM and the sonar. Unfortunately, it would appear that the TRD Pros here in the states are missing the wires in the main FRAME wiring harness for the BSM or sonar systems.

Inside the cab, I can find the right wires in at least one set of junctions (where they connect to the harness out to the engine bay on the passenger side). And I was able to confirm that the wiring and connector for the RCTA buzzer are in place (pop the driver's side C-pillar, and it is tucked back in there). But it appears that they just don't go anywhere at the next junction.

So, the only option would be to buy a lot of expensive parts (the BSM sensors themselves are running ~$500/ea used) and then run 7 wires from the engine bay to the back of the truck to get the wiring even there to do it.

You didn't have to trim the oem studs for this? Thought 1.25" was the smallest you could do to fit over the studs?

Got my heritage badge installed. The color is growing on me. At first (stock) I was kinda eh on the color. Love it now. Think it actually looks better dirty which I’m never a fan of. Like the tint and the badges. Still debating running boards.

The front did not stick out at all. The rear studs stick out a couple millimeters. Luckily the TRD pro wheels have a slot cut into them between each hole that fits over the tip of the stud perfectly. Wheels sits flush against the spacer. I was pretty disappointed when I saw it was sticking out till I looked at the back of the wheel.
I took wheels back off this morning to re-torque the spacers and you could see where the wheel was sitting. Looks good.

This is the area where the wheels studs are at.

I'll be honest - how it looks dirty is actually one of my criteria for picking a color on a rig. I'm not a "wash it every weekend" guy...or even every month really. I've got too much else going on to worry about the dirt on my truck because it's a truck. Yeah - I know there are people appalled at that idea (and some for good reason probably - improving paint life, etc.). I get it, but at the pace life goes for me, it's one of the last things I think about. When I saw this color, it had already caught my interest...but when I saw a dirty Rav4 up close, that sort of sealed it for me. :D

Got the airbags in on Friday. Went with Firestone Ride-Rite bags with the Airlift wireless controller and compressor. Ran the schrader valves for manual fill/deflate through the license plate bolts. Came out really well!

    1A8154E1-F13E-44FF-B127-C8F47B0A6262.jpg 167BD300-8B67-4156-B0D1-5DB260E16596.jpg

Went ahead and threw the TRD rear sway bar on too. Wanted a couple days with just the bags to see if there were any ride qualities I didn’t like. Nope! With the bags at 5psi and the sway bar it feels great! Can’t wait to see how much better it feels towing.

The valves in the license plate holes is genius. I would have never thought of it. I went with a tee and a single valve to the side of my plate.

So with the FOX shocks what does the sway bar do? Firm it up?

Reduce body roll. It works really well and I noticed absolutely no difference in NVH.

I really notice a difference on interstate on-ramps when you are carrying a lot of speed and turning.

nope still going strong, I get occasional errors here and there but they go away pretty quick. Pretty sure I’m right on the cusp of where the sensor beam is.

I gotta ask did your guys pay over invoice and if so by how much? I keep getting told this truck is really rare bc you can't special order them and each one I've seen is like 10-15k over msrp

I live in the south east so it may be different but I got 1000 off MSRP. Definitely seems like those in the north west and West Coast are having to pay large mark ups. Dealers around here are asking for markups but are generally settling for MSRP or just over
