After leaving and driving a mile, there was a loud startling pop from drivers side front. Going about 45mph. Getting on the highway, got up to 65mph and loud pop from passenger side. Made it home and no other sounds. Is this normal?! Or what caused this?

All lug nuts are still on haha.
I had 285/55/20 BFG KO2 ATs. Wish I would have gone slightly larger than the 275/60

Sounds like the beads of the tire weren't completely seated. The tire installer should have never let it leave that way. You should be fine now but I would crawl under the truck and look at the inside and outside of the rears.

What should I be looking for? I was the last install of the day too, so not sure if mine was rushed.

Possibly a balancing weight coming off but I figure that would've been more of a clunking sound than a popping.

Every tire weight I’ve had pop off has sounded almost like a gunshot.

It was loud so it could have been a clunk/pop. It came from both sides at different times which was odd.

I would guess weights coming off. Or a rock stuck in the tread? Bfgs can really hold onto gravel

The truck didn’t feel as stable around corners and a little “loose” if that makes sense. I’ll have them take a look. It sounded like a gun shot

Did you have any steering vibrations before or after the pop?

BFG states they have a "very tight bead seat" and that a lot of "warranty" issues from vibrations are that the installer doesn't use enough lube and the bead doesn't seat properly. Wonder if this is what happened.

I have +55 offset and thinking about some spacers. No rub with 275 60 or 285 55

No issues before. I took it back in and they rebalanced it. Said all the wheel weights were still on. Still confused on what happened. Maybe it was the tire setting properly?
