I went to start truck and all I got was a loud rapid clicking. I just got a new battery 6 months ago, duralast gold. I'm thinking starter or solenoid. Anyone had this problem, any help would be appreciated

i went though 5 of them from around thanksgiving to 2 weeks ago. Every :censored: one the cell drops out. One died in a week. one never made it out the door i had them test it, pos was bad too.. UGH.

While your at autozone have them do test to the alt. and starter since you are there to rule anything out.

I'm dead in the water, had to drive my daily driver to doctor. I'm gonna try to jump it and hope to get it started to get to AutoZone. Any recommendations on a dependable battery

By the way I ended up calling hid company and the said to go up 5 amps on the fuse, I did and got the driver side working, but not passenger. I switched ballast and got nothing. He's sending me new ballast new bulbs and a relay switch at no cost. Nice customer service. Thanks for your help Mike
