If I get them installed by my local dealership it won't affect my warranty. I purchased an extended warranty and I don't really want to mess with it.

I know people will say that it only affects the part removed, but I've had bad experiences with the dealership. They are like an insurance company when it comes to warranty claims. They will do anything in their power to blame it on something you did. For example, I was having issues with the tailgate on my Tacoma when it was a week old. I went to them prior to putting my tonneau cover on. They realized that the there was something wrong with the latch and it needed to be replaced. They scheduled me to come back once the part was in. When I returned a week later I had just installed my new tonneau cover. I get a call telling me that the problem with my tailgate was due to my tonneau cover. They said that the tonneau cove was causing my tailgate not to close properly, even though the previous week the mechanic stated that the latch was defective.

That is crazy! Even with all the bananas shit I did to my Tacoma, I never had issues with warranty or TSBs.

Yeah, I think it depends on the dealership. My local dealership used to mod a few new trucks and sell them for a premium already lifted and with new wheels and tires. I was recently told by my local dealership that they were no longer doing them due to warranty problems. People who had issues, and the dealer tried to deny the claim because it was due to aftermarket parts, demanded it should be covered since it was sold to them new like that. It sounds like now they will only install aftermarket parts on the trucks once they are purchased stock and the aftermarket parts are purchased separately.

Don't know if you actually can unsubscribe. However you can change your profile, change your email address, and change your photos. Hotmail automatically voids an email address that goes unused after a minimum number of days, so open a hotmail account and start with that. Then, replace all postings and pictures with bogus stuff and rewrite your profile. I made up a 98 year old woman from Kenya with various obsessions.
