Looking to buy a First Gen, looking at Auction...

I know two local to me that have more mileage than that and are daily drivers.
One has almost double that mileage and is a daily driver.
I dont think its a problem getting them there if they were taken care of, only problem is thats a LOT of miles of question. Was it taken care of, was it maintained, did it always get good gas, was it towed and run hot once and the rod bearings are about to leave the chat, so many questions. If its nice looking underneath and has good records, that mileage isnt a big deal. If its questionable inside and out, and doesnt have records to match, i would walk away. The LAST thing you need is someone elses problem.
