    Morimoto XB fogs for sure.

I went with Philips ultinon LED head lights. Direct bulb swap. Plug and play.

Very happy with appearance and performance. IMG_5127.jpgPic was before I installed the morimoto fogs. They match the color output of the headlights.

Phillips says 6200k but it's much closer to the 5500k of the morimotos. This was a huge selling point for me. I hate the blue light look. These are white.

I have morimoto xb fogs they are brighter than stock halogen. Dont like led with out projector because light output is scattered with reflector headlights giving them worse than stock imo. Do a retrofit is really only true way for brighter output. @eledobleu

I have the GTR LIGHTING gen 3 ultra series from Headlight Revolution fog lights. They are brighter than my Recon HID head lights in a Recon projector housing. The video up top is no bull shit. The light out put is insane! Plus life time warranty. They will replace them for life no questions asked . Can't beat that!

Dumb question time. Are these really just as simple as pulling the old bulbs out and dropping these in?

Yes with the exception that you need to mount tha led driver. It's easy though. Double stock tape and zip ties.

Are the Morimoto fog lights easy to install? Do the headlights need to be removed to get to them or can you do it without removing them?

I went with some Baja Designs Squadron Sport lights instead of a bulb replacement. Easy install. Can be done be removing the back of the bumper inner wheel well mud guard.

I didn't have enough stock wiring to install mine from the front of the bumper. Once I installed them from behind (and made a mess of the liners and tabs and screws - UGH eff those things) the morimotos had more wire so I was able to adjust / aim the lights once they were installed by accessing them from the front.

The only bad thing you'll notice about the morimoto fogs is that they will instantly make you wish you replaced your headlamps at the same time. They're that much better.

My headlights are getting retrofitted with HID/RX350 projectors as we speak, so my problem is the opposite :) I need to get rid of these ugly fog lights lol. Thanks for the info guys

Phillips X-treme Ultinon LED H4 bulbs, 3M Color Stable 35 tint on front doors, 3M Crystalline 40 on sunroof, OEM bed liner, OEM running boards, Morimoto fog LEDs, Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite, Husky X-Act Contour floor mats
After reading this thread I got the Phillips X-treme Ultinon LED bulbs. I didn't want to shell out a lot for retrofits with projectors and couldn't wait to see how the 2018 LED headlight assemblies worked. I was concerned if I would be satisfied with the amount of light and worried about some threads that said LEDs threw a lot of light all over the place. I installed them and then went on a 500 mile trip. I'm very happy with the Phillips LED bulbs. They were plug and play. The low beam is 100% better than the OEM halogen, IMO. The beam cutoff is good and I'm not blinding oncoming traffic which I would assume would be flashing me if I were. The high beams are adequate. They do seem to throw a lot of light upward. I don't need them that much so I can live with it. The light color also matches the Morimoto XB fogs really well.

I recently bought some ebay H4 LED bulbs. I've been running them for a month, and am still not sure if I like them or not.

If you buy some, make sure you buy the first style you posted and not the second style. You want the LED elements to be arranged as close as possible to where the filaments would be in a normal H4 bulb. You also need the little reflectors on the low beam elements to maintain the vertical cut off properly. Also, the first bulbs you posted have three elements in each position. However you can find the same bulb style with four elements in each position, which are rated much brighter. I ended up buying bulbs with fans, but obviously it would be better buying bulbs with passive coolers instead.

So far here are my thoughts on them:

    Positives:
    - Use less power from the electrical system (LEDs are more efficient, less heat more light).
    - Great low beam light output/pattern
    - The LEDs are regulated, which means your lights don't get dimmer if your alternator output drops a bit at idle. The light output is always the same regardless of the power input.
    - Look more modern.

    Negatives:
    - When we got snow, there was not enough heat from the bulbs to melt the snow off my H4 housings. So I quickly lost light output as my housings covered in snow.
    - The high beam does not project as well as my old Halogen H4's. It's wider, but not as far.
    - I don't really like the narrow light spectrum/color. Even though there is more light, it is almost harder to see. A halogen has a wider spectrum, so is easier to see.
    - The bulbs I bought seem to create electrical noise that interferes with my radio. The result of buying something from China that doesn't adhere to electronic emissions requirements.
    - Can't fit the rubber boots over the bulbs I bought.

I bought bulbs on the cheaper end of the spectrum. There is certainly potential with this technology, it's just a matter of picking the right bulb design I think. For example, Philips makes LED bulbs. They are expensive as heck, but I bet they are good. Most of the Chinese bulbs are knock-offs of the Philips ones.

These are the ones I bought:
2x H4 160W 16000LM LED Headlight PHILIPS Chip Kit High Low Beam Bulb 6000K White

If I were to try another pair, I'd probably try something more like these ones. I like how they are flatter, with less aluminum cupped around the LEDs blocking light:
