    Gents,

I'm installing a set of Image Dynamics CXS 64 V2 both in the front and rear doors. I would like to mount the tweeter directly on the coaxial so if someone looking through the window they wouldn't know i have a system. I know I will sacrifice some sound quality, but i'm ok with it.

So, the instructions that came with the speakers were not great. Once i mounted the tweeter directly on the midbass driver the instructions made it sound like i wire the tweeter to the midbass versus the crossover. Clear as mud? Wouldn't i just wire up the tweeter and connect in to the crossover just like i would if i mounted the tweeter in the sail panel?

Thanks in advance! You guys are great!

After reading that, i am not sure if that made any sense. In others words, i want to wire and install the comp set just like a coaxial.

if you put the tweeters inside the front dash corners, they will be totally invisible, and there is a ton of room in those front corners.

also, the trucks with JBL have tweeters in the door sail panels, so that would look stock too. Mine are in the front dash, sound great.
