Discount Tire but I touch mine up when they rotate tires with a small brush and shiney black enamel

And they really work I used them for awhile and they stayed on too. I used my wife’s hairspray and you give each one a little spray and push them on. Then my daughter found good black lugs from D Tire:)

I put an offbrand version of these on my wife's 4runner after she had me black out the rims they look great, are super easy, and you never have to touch them up. Just remember to keep the special tweezers in your glove box so you can pull them off if you ever get a flat on the side of the road.

Are they solid steel? Or two piece (essentially a core with a thin cap/wrap)?

Even if they are black steel I think they would eventually chip from usage Everytime you take a wheel off. And if you take your car to the dealer or tire shop for rotations you know their impact wrench will destroy the black finish. That's why I like the vinyl covers. Just take them off before you take it to the shop and you'll never have to touch them up
