It has a good accident history but I've also found indications that there are inconsistencies in the mileage...

I would pass on it, has the small 26 gal fuel tank. But I tow a lot and I like that 38 gal tank.

Looks nice. Seems a bit high, but you are in different state/region than me.
    Compare NADA and KBB pricing.

Haggle if you can, less paid is better.

You should verify mileage before your visit.

Dealer should be ready to deal on it...sitting on the lot 8 months.

I thought something looked hinkey with the steel wheels. That truck was originally sold by Billion Toyota, and came with SR5 Upgrade package and alloy wheels. Original owner must have traded back for a new one. Billion should be able to provide the service history, or see if you can fake it out of Toyota.com using the VIN.

Those aren't the "steelies", those are the lower version aluminum wheels.

Vehicle description says wheels are steel, but if that's an error, it wouldn't be the only error in the description:

    Tires and Rims
    • Tire Type: All Season
    • Wheels: Steel
    • Spare Tire Mount Location: Underbody
    • Spare Wheel Type: Steel
    • Tire Pressure Monitoring System: Null
    • Spare Tire Size: Full-Size

I bought a crewmax Sr5 2016 with 40k miles 18 months ago in private sale for 28k it had a paint scrape on the bed and resin bumper cracked from a snow bank rub. It has the 38 gallon tank. Maybe that’s with the crewmax? I love mine and it has been flawless. Zero issues. Car fax was spotty because it was serviced mostly at a local shop. It drove and sounded great. I looked it over stem to stern and bought it within a couple of hours. Dealer offered me 31k a few months ago with 3k off a black 2019 pro and I didn’t take the deal. I have added a few (understatement) mods and mine just drove better .

No, I understand that, but what you see in the picture are the base aluminum wheels, not steel.

Also says the vehicle will seat 6...

I should run out and buy 6-fingered gloves...

Yeah, took a closer look. You are right, those appear to be bottom-sucking, omg-I-can't-wait-to-get-new aluminum wheels and tires. :D

After driving to Sioux Falls (over 800 miles round trip) to Billion Motors, the sale price was $28,000 and I offered them $27,000...They wouldn't take it, so I walked away...Won't be dealing with them anytime soon
