Long crank when cold

    Figured it out,fuel line connected to sending unit assembly locking tab is worn out and wasn’t on all the way so the system was leaking out over time and that’s the cause of the long cranks in the morning

    That's awesome news, so it basically was a pressure issue - line was draining off over time, so when starting up, the line needed to repressurize, which would happen as the engine was cranking, it just had to re-prime each time.

    And you weren't smelling any gas outside the truck?

    I'm not following exactly where the bad connection was, but I'm also curious what brought you to that spot to notice it wasn't fully inserted.

    The first week or so when everything started I didn’t smell gas but it eventually got worse and worse and then started leaking badly so I just traced it back up and then there it was
