Sometimes when the engine is still warm I will get a hard start condition. I will have to crank at least 3-5 seconds and the engine will catch slowly. Any ideas?

Starter ever been replaced? Is it slow? I'm wondering if the starter is getting heat soaked. (its under the intake manifold)
