Long bed crewmax any1??

Just saw this on facebook not sure if its been posted before or not. What are your thoughts??

YES! It even fits in my garage with 4' to spare.
And i can deal with it being a pain to park.

 

You must have a huge garage.

 

6.5' bed I'd be okay with. 8' not so much.

 

I would buy a 6.5' bed.

 

Box the frame in and put Toyota engineered HD diesel in that thing and .

 

Would love to have an 8’ bed. All you gotta do is back in to park and it’s a breeze

 

Its an extra deep extra wide 2 car garage attached to my 1800 sq. ft. shop at my residence which i run my business out of.

Not my cup of tea. Though if Toyota made a CM with a 6'-6'5" bed I'd be interested.

 

This! It's still a 1/2 ton and that's a lot of extra weight.

 

Size doesn't matter. Atleast that is what my girlfriend tells me.

I agree though 6.5 bed, not 8 unless there is a Tundra 2500 or 3500 on the horizon.

 

I would clip all the curbs in that long beast....

 

Love it. But agree that payload numbers and towing capacity would have to be maintained for it to be functional.
A 5 person people mover with an 8' bed is awesome. Toyota needs to take notes for the 4th gen. Box the frame. Crewmax 8' bed. 8/9 speed transmission to help with MPG.
I like having the ability to move a lot of people comfortably, but still have a bed to carry stuff.
How about an 8 person people mover with a 6.5' bed...

Kinda what I was thinking. 6.5' Beed would be more than enough.

 

Too much truck for current payload /GVW ratings.

 

Damn that's close, only an hour away. Wonder if it looks as bad in person. Just doesn't look right.

 

It doesn't look sturdy to me.

 

That grey truck looks downright silly and awesome lol. I went with the double cab because it had the bigger bed. I do fill that SOB up sometimes hauling crap, been doing some home renovations hauling off debris myself. Almost wish I found an 8' bed/double cab truck, but those are pretty rare and this thing is already kind of a PITA to park in tight lots.
