Hey all. Looking at lifting my 2019 SR5 crewmax. Should I go 3” or 4”, and what brand would you suggest? Also, what size wheels and tires would you suggest? Mainly road driving, but I will be taking it hunting and camping and such, not a mudder or 4wheeling guy, but a family vehicle mainly.... but still my toy! So don’t want to go nuts, but still want a badass looking rig!

Looking to spend under $3500 for lift and wheel and tires installed. Doable with a decent setup?

2-3"; the less you lift the better (unless it's a specific look you're going after). You can spend less than half of your budget on shocks/coilovers if you get the Fox 2.0 series. You can also fit a 35" tire on stock wheels if you keep the width at no more than 285mm. I fit 285/75R18 tires on my truck with stock springs in the rear and coilovers in the front set at about 2" of lift. Why spend the money on new wheels when what you have now work perfectly fine? If you ever mess them up you can always find gently used ones for cheap.

This is maybe the finest looking Tundra I've ever seen. God, I wish they made 3rd gens in regular cab/short bed configurations :(

I had similar requirements. I went with a basic 3/1 lift. It keeps the stock ride. You can get much better lifts as many will suggest, but you’re not going to have any money left in your budget for wheels and tires. For your needs it should be fine. I went with Fuel Mavericks wheels on 35” Nitto Ridge grapplers. This was the best option for me. I did a lot of research beforehand. It’s got a very aggressive off-road look, but rides great and tires are quiet. I don’t really do off roading but it’s been a beast in the snow. I’m in the NYC area where prices tend to be higher and I got everything installed and alignment for 3k out the door.

    Coach builder's shackles/ shims= 350
    Labor/ alignment = 250

$2200 out the door, left money for BAM exhaust group buy, remote start and still under 3k.
I actually wanted 18" wheels but didn't want to spend the extra $. I did 3/1 lift kit on my previous trucks and drove fine. This setup is night and day and for only a couple hundred dollars difference is a no brainier. Kind of a bad picture but looks greay in person. Good luck with your future setup. Truck now sits 4" higher than stock.

Whatever you decide. After the bigger tires I added the TRD rear sway bar. $200-250. Really helped the handling. Easy to install yourself.

Old Man Emu with 612 springs if you are keeping your stock front bumper and not adding a winch, get the toytec adjustable shackles for the rear, set at 1 inch.
Right around $1000 for that set up, pus labor or do it yourself for free, that leaves a lot left over for new tires and wheels.

OME is a great all around shock that also gives you around 2-1/2 of lift.
