Lift on 275/70/18 ?

I recently upgrade my stock tires to 275/70/18 Falken AT3 tires. I am looking for a lift in the 2" range. I am concerned about lifting too much will make the tires look tiny. I stay mainly on road but I do go camping from time to time and want to make sure whatever I install will be capable off road. What lift are you guys running on a 33" tire?

 

I have those exact tires ready to install and will also be putting in billy 5100's on the 2nd notch.

 

Running 275/70/18 here with Bilstein 5100’s on middle setting. Plenty of pics in my build thread (link is in signature).

May jump up to the 6112s later on and put at the 1.9” setting.

 

3/1 lowrange offroad wth 275/70/18 nitto ridge grapplers on a +20 offset wheel for reference

 

BFG KO2, 275/70 18 with 3/2 lift.

Will do. I am thinking the same thing. I may do the 5100s now to accomplish what I want, then upgrade to adjustable coil-overs later on. I can do 5100s on all 4 corners, 1" lift shackle, TRD rear sway bar, skid plate, and BajaDesigns fogs for the same cost as doing Toytec's ultimate lift kit.

 

Dang, a 3/2 doesnt make those tires look small at all. Do you have a link to that lift? How do you like it?

Bilstein 6112s and 5160s 1.9 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. Bfg ko2 275/70r18

 

It's blocks and spacers from the dealer, im guessing ReadyLift? It's ok, but I don't like all the negative that I've read about long term damage and effects it has on vehicle and suspension. It will be coming off the truck soon and will be for sale.

Stock rock warrior package with 18x9 18mm offset with 275/70/18 lt tires, no rub at all

 

I ran that for the last 3.5 years with my stock wheels, and just replaced wheels and tires. Here are some pictures. I'm running a 2" moto fab spacer lift up front with 275/70/18.

 

Is the 1.9 setting on the 6112s the top setting?

 

No, the top is 2.5

 

I have the 5100 on middle setting, no lift in the rear just the upgraded shocks with 275 70 18

 

Must be a reason i keep reading that everyone goes with the 1.9 then

 

Get's the job done with less ride performance issues.

 

I think is what i am leaning towards, but I will add the Toytec 1" shackle in the rear since I have a 2018 with the TSS. Hopefully, the rake will prevent any sensor issues.

 

Looks good! I am still on the fence about the 6112 because they are not adjustable (with spanner wrench). I will probably do 5100 for now with adjustables in the future.

 

I'm going up to 295/70/18 (35 ish). The 33's were too small with 3/1

 

It sets about 3/4 inch lower in the front, which is what I wanted for when I haul and tow stuff. Next upgrade is an onboard air compressor and airbags for the rear.

 

275/70/18 with a +12 offset AT3W (33.4”) no rubbing at full compression

 

@lbcdan ... any rubbing with the 275/70 AT3W’s on stock suspension? Are they on stock rims as well. Want these tires bc of height, but dont want to level front at least in short term. Heard 285/65’s clear fine, but they’re not as tall. Appreciate any feedback
