Lift kit on my factory bottle jack

Hey guys thought I would post a fairly inexpensive upgrade for all of us with larger than stock tires. I bought a Hi-Lift Jack oversize base. It is a very snug fit for our jack to squeeze in, but I shaved just a 1/64" off the edge of the plastic for the jack to drop in. It gives a large stable base for on and off-road use and nets you 2-1/2" extra lift. This works perfect for me being that my 37's are 5" taller than stock. Take that 5" in half and that takes the 2-1/2" jack lift right back to stock height. Oh ya, it also fits under the back seat, even with the storage system. $40.00 and you have a jack lift that will not rot like a 4x8 block of wood.

the jack is probably the last consideration when you lift your rig and the first thing to screw you over should you run a tire flat.

Anybody have a fix for the seat belt chime? Drivin' me crazy..... I use the belt 99% of the time, but would like to have the option. Don't know about pulling the springs out of the belt connection. Does that affect the airbags?

 

If you ask the dealer really nicely they might turn it off for you. Otherwise you can turn it off with techstream.
