Lol, most likely spidertrax/bora 1.25" spacers were used in conjunction with 35s to fit or running 285/75 (metric size 35s).

As promised. 6 inches of lift, 35’s on 18” rims with zero offset. 2 1/4” of tire poke.81CC9AC7-CC70-43C0-858D-C4B1E834175B.jpg

Honestly can’t remember if these are 9’s or 10’s. I’ll look later tonight.

thanks. Being zero offset once I know the rim width I can divide by two and figure out the front space and work from there of what setup ill run (based on looks). Really appreciate the photo and replies. It’s really helping me! Thanks again.

My wheels are 18 x 9 (Monster XD 778) with a +18 offset and 35s, but they're a wider tire 12.8" (thank you covid for not having any availability on typical 12.5s). I ended up with way more poke than I expected. I had to remove the mudflaps, but it comes in real handy when Mr. Mercedes is being a PITA and there's a nice puddle ahead of me.

This is on 7.5" but rides on 35s until they wear out and I join the dirty seven club.

You’re overly complicating it. Don’t think about backspacing. All you need is tire width and offset to determine your poke. Read this. Explains it pretty well.

Very helpful! Thanks. Yes I was trying to turn this into rocket science for some reason. I think a +25 offset with the fender flares I have should be about right. That’s with a 12.5” tire.

Only thing left now is to consider how much better 37’s will look. ;)

@red_5ive , Do you have a lift or leveling kit? If so what size? My tundra is stock height currently and I’m looking at a leveling kit from Rough County (2” struts in front and new shocks in rear) I’d like to clear 35s but might go with 33x12.5s.

Personally, I prefer 33s with a spacer for more clearance. I initially only had a spacer and ran close to the stock tire size, just a tad wider and with wider wheels (18 x 10 and -12 offset if I recall) and tires were the equivalent of 32s. I'll try and find a pic. In hindsight, I would have preferred 18 x 9 wheels as I got a lot of vibration from the 18 x 10 when the tires would get out of balance.

Now I have a 3.5" Maxtrac spindle lift and 2.5" spacer which is roughly a 6". I think they make a spindle lift as well for 4wd that can also be combined with a spacer. It's the easy route and maintains close to the stock ride since it doesn't affect the geometry much, but note that spindle lifts aren't recommended if you're gonna do any serious off-roading. I still take my truck off-road frequently (more-so than a lot of the local 4x4s in my area that never seem to get any dirt on them), but obviously nothing excessive. If I had 4wd, the paint would probably never be vsibile during the winter ;).

Here's how it all looks on my Gen 2 with 35s.

Here's some pics with the 32s (Falken Wild Peak) and 18 x 10 wheels -12 offset when I only had the 2.5" spacer. The tire diameter was the stock tire diameter, just wider. It would have looked better with 33s (and/or a more aggressive tread), but back then I knew nothing about Tundras and assumed it would be better to re-gear if I had gone with 33s, which I didn't want to do so I went with stock diameter tires. And speaking of gearing, I did go with 4:88s when I got my 35s.

It’s a nice looking truck, those 35s look great on it! Thanks for the info, this is my first Tundra and I’m really enjoying the mods on it…definitely better than my previous Silverado. So far I’ve deleted all the chrome inside and out, changed the rear bumper, added Bumpershellz to the front chrome…now I’d like to do the suspension and wheels/tires.

@EC1 I love the front bumper end caps in matte black and I am about to order the hood bulge / grille surround as well. Great products man!

True, 35s is more than enough for the trucks. But like Rey said, once you start cutting, may as well make room for 37s… unless if you cut way too much, then you’ll be like @Cruzer .

Tundra is so darn reliable that owners are bored and almost forced working on its appearance. Imagine yourself in a RAM 1500 with enough mileage for the engine about to fail imminently any moment now, would you even think of fitting in 37s? ;)

Recently got 35s on Methods (+35 offset). No BMC. All that was needed was to remove the mud flaps and slightly trim the front plastic. (Also have a 3 inch lift)

great wheel offset, wish there were more offerings for wheels in +35. Its a perfect offset for a Tundra.

I was super happy with the outcome! Didn't want much poke, they tuck under nicely.
