Thanks! Work in progress, have a trip coming up so now it’s “oh sh*t why did we put that off” time. Trying to get my buddy’s rig done too. It’s pretty much alternating days of work on vehicles. Fortunately his is just wiring comms and building the platform.

His rig is amazing. 35’s on there. He’s the reason my savings doesn’t have more in it. I blame him and this forum. Lol

Took her down to the San Rafael Swell. Gear held up well and performed great. Zero complaints. The awning was a party favorite given the heat this weekend. Also added some pinstripes.

Lots of fun this weekend. 0 complaints about the setup so far. Considering doing Scheel Mann seats in the winter as these seats leave something to be desired. Long distance travel plans will dictate that move, and the big trio in Oct on the IDBDR.

    Next on the build:

Ordered a mountain hatch, and I’ll be headed down today to @upTOPOverland to see if I can get on their schedule to add more rock lights to my roof racks for camp lighting, and look at some Scheel Mann seats while I’m down that way.

I’ll be adding a molle panel to the back of the seat for storage.

I need to update the original post from a computer today, it is WAY out of date.

With the pinstripes I have on her, a wrap is on the radar this winter.

    Awesome overland build!!

I was wondering, what was your method to de-chrome the bumpers and badges?

This build is awesome. I’m placing an iPad in the same position, what size 67 arm is yours mounted on?

It is a medium length for the iPad. Let me know if you have any more questions!

    Appreciate ya.

Another question then, how are you liking the ultraswing, and does the tailgate open when the swing is just swung out to 90degrees?

    No problem.

No it doesn’t, it needs to be open to the third hole. Part of the issue is the license plate location and it scratching the tailgate. Overall I really like it, the build is built around mountain bike trips so it’s a must for me. Departure angle is brutal when we go through more difficult terrain though since I have the rack on it.

Installed a Powerstop Z36 kit today. At some point I’ll update the original post. Prepping for the IDBDR next month.

Also installed 2 more pairs of rock lights in the @upTOPOverland racks and had a switch installed so I can hit the switch from inside the RTT.

I'm getting in on this thread late but how do you like the RLD Design canopy? I love the look and am thinking about getting one myself. Not sure if I'd want the solid side doors or window side doors.

I like it. It functions as it’s supposed to, but the one thing is I wouldn’t buy any of their accessories. They’re junk imo.
I also changed out the struts so they only open to 90 degrees and can support more weight as I mount my shovel and axe on one side, and maxtrax on the other.
    No complaints.
