Installed tonight, and yes you will get dirt in your eyes if you don't wear some protection lol. Made a big difference in the glare on the back up camera. Look forward to seeing how it does in the rain too. Thanks for a great product!

 

Also, just worth mentioning, while I have Tacoma DIR premade, all Tundra DIR is made to order. So, please be patient and I’ll get them built as soon as I can. They take a fair bit of time.

Some have reported that dirt falls into the eyes when lying under the truck trying to get that 8 way connector to separate. Fair warning.

 

Glasses on, safety 1st.

 

My other truck is a 2006 (new england) Silverado. I know all about falling debris.

 

Got the harness installed today. Thanks @daveeasa for such a well made product.

 

Been meaning to do this to my Ferd for a while now. I put bright ass bulbs on it that wash out the camera when in reverse. Gonna grab me a relay and some wires. Won't be nearly as finished and polished as this harness but it should get the job done. Will probably throw one on my Tundra as well.
