I switched to Tommy Hilfiger "relaxed freedom" jeans years ago, they are very comfortable and they don't restrict movement while working.

You better go buy more, that * means they aren't going to carry them anymore.

I recently bought a few pairs of 10 year old guess jeans from there. Those style guess jeans are the only jeans that have ever fit me well and I was pumped to find a way to get more.

Another route to g is Rural King. Their house brand jeans are made very well. They are pretty thick and have held up well. They cost $10-$12 day in day out. They also have some carpenter/Carhart styles also. They have been more ruggid and held up better than anything I have had before. I still have some Levi's for going out to dinner, etc..... Really like the Rural King brand though!

I'm scared to get a Costco membership because every time my wife used to go in there, she would spend at least $400.

I'll have to stock up on the Kirkland jeans. They've always been the best value for the money. I've been having a lot of gripes with my local Costco over the last few years. They've been discontinuing or running out of a lot of good items I buy. I'd go in and only find half the items I need to buy. They always have the crap I'd never buy. I wish we had a Sam's Club in the area. I never had any issues with them when I lived near one. I had a Costco and Sam's within 5 minutes of the other. I would buy more stuff from Sam's.

I can't wear the cheap jeans if they fit like crap, so I just picked up some Levi 541s for ~$42 each on sale this Christmas.

LL Bean were the only other pair that fit well but they bleed blue all over the inside of my dryer unfortunately.

The problem today is that a lot of jeans are made thin and distressed and won't last a year of regular everyday use.

About 30's years ago I bought some acid washed 550's. They were nice looking jeans and super comfortable. Unfortunately because of the acid wash, they didn't last too long. Some of my old baggy 501's are stone washed and are quite comfortable.

I bought some carhart double front pants today because of this thread. I’m not a jeans guy so much.

I just bought a pair of 12.99 Kirkland jeans to try to see if they compare as good as the last time I bought some years ago. They are made in Madagascar now. I think they were made in Mexico before. They fit and feel fine like before. I think they're going be my new favorite pants.
