Leveling Kit Spacer vs Strut

    2012 Black Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior
    I am currently interested in getting a level on my 2012 Rock Warrior, I wasn't exactly sure whether to go with the spacer or strut, as well as if there is anything to check such as ball joints, etc before getting the level. I have been told I have the option for a differential drop??
    Truck is in really good condition 120k miles.

    Do any needed maintenance or repairs before lifting, suggest you look at lifted coilover rather than a spacer. The suspension forum here has a ton of good info, discussions on different suspensions offered, pics, etc.

    Never experienced spacer or anything similar, but like Frank quoted, research the garage threads on suspension and you'll find reviews, pros/cons, different makes/brands, etc..
    Spacers are usually stiff or firmer ride, whereas, Coilovers are more factory or better than factory ride...Good luck

    I’m installing lift at 2” tomorrow. Currently waiting for it to show up at my door. I was in the same situation as you. Decided to go with a coilover since I have 160k miles on my current 2010.

    Skip the spacer and get something that actually improves the suspension performance and lifts it at the same time. So many options out there but Eibach and Bilstein certainly have some good ones for the price and quality.
