So this is just a 2 inch spacer in the front and nothing in the rear? Looks great! And what tire size are you rocking?

yeah just the cheap 2” spacer and nut adjustment for the rear that brought it to level. I’m at the 1/16” area of the rear adjustment and I will wait to see if the front settles after a few months of driving to see if I need to move it. I put Toyo At3’s 35x11.5r20 (I call it super stock haha)

Before pics are irrelevant since everyone's setup has been a little different right out of the factory. Been posted multiple times that leaving a little of adjustment space sets up the truck perfectly.

Well I took a look tonight. Both sides were completely different. I decided to extend all the way up and used what felt like "one click" back down. There isn't a visible opening on the low side under the bolt. I might adjust again but will see how it rides. I did take it for a quick ride. No bottoming out. I also measured the rear distance ground to wheel well and gained almost 2 inches. Probably 1 3/4. Added a couple of pics Before adjustment.

I just did the adjustment. Night and day difference. I didn’t realize it but my arms were at different settings and truck was sitting crooked. Before the adjustment, I was a little let down by the ride. I had only felt it bottom out a few times, but now it’s much more car like and smooth.

I was playing with the integrated dash cam yesterday. A couple of those bumps were so severe and shook the truck so hard the dash cam recorded them as possible collision events. It's funny, without this forum and thread, I might not have every known the difference.

I came across this video on you tube. Does anyone know if the rear link arms are included with the pre collar lift kit from westcott for AVS/air suspension? Is there a difference between the westcott arms and the stock ones?

not sure if its included but the oem arms should provide enough lift on their own

just go to their site and check it out imo. pretty easy. you can order front only or also the full kit with rear arms. if you have avs you need to also select between tokico or hitachi shocks. there is no other way to get this info other than looking at the actual shock so trying to buy the kit before you have the truck with avs wont work unless you buy both and return or sell one.

for folks to give advise you should provide more info imo. size and offset of wheels, size of tires would be a good start. i run 18's with +18 offset and 35's. no rub at all but did have to pin the liner back a little as the video instructs.

I saw that on their site it only mentions the rear spacers that are included in the full kit. No mention of rear arms included. Wondering if anyone that has bought the kit for AVS and knows if the rear arms are included or even necessary.

if you select the full kit it will come with rear arms. i didn't compare them against stock before installing but my understanding is that they can give you an additional .75" over oem. front is 2". im on black anodized with tokico shocks. the folks at westcott encourage potential buyers to reach out with questions. if you're really considering the kit and have questions maybe hit them up.

I reached out and they said the same thing you did. I have a deposit on a hybrid so they were hesitant about what to go with. But Westcott confirmed rear ams come with the kit and hybrid suspension is good to go. So I am just waiting to find out what shocks are on mine so I can order the correct kit.

that's the part that sucks. lol. no way to know until you get the truck. i waited 10 weeks for my kit when they were back ordered due to anodized delays early on in march. a lot of folks are getting it faster now which is good.

Both of my brackets were “bottomed out” and I gained roughly 2 inches after my adjustment. I thought it looked odd after putting a Rough Country level kit on as well as uneven from the left to right. 35” Nitto G-2’s fit perfect!

Yes it does. After installing the level kit, I noticed the drivers side rear was lower than the passenger side. After reading through this thread, I looked and both the brackets/adjustment arms in question were at the top of the adjustment points. I did the manual adjustment method as stated and it looks much better.

I don't have my '22 Platinum yet, so can't do any measurements... what's the stock rake on this truck? Trying to figure out when this is adjusted as mentioned, not max but close to the highest (as suggested to keep it from being to soft), how much lift does the front need to have a slight rake or even level and what route did you go to lift it? Thanks in advance, great thread!

I talked to westcott today. For the AVS the front leveling is 2", but he said maybe about 2.25" and the rear arms raise it 7/8".

But what I am hearing on these pages is you can get up to 2" from the rear stock arms. I guess it all depends on where the arms are set when you get it. Seems like a front 2.25" and rear 7/8" gives you about a 1/2" rake. But in looking at the pictures, it seems to me that the front looks higher. I might go with a 1.75" front leveling kit instead of westcott just to increase that rake slightly by a quarter inch or so. We will see!

I just checked my air ride sensors and one was low and the other high. Probably why I have been slamming on the bump stops when hitting certain bumps. I raised the low side but haven't taken it for a spin yet. I am sure it will be better. I have towed my 25' travel trailer and it tows very nicely as I think the air ride fills up some.

Lots of good info here. So it seams that these tundras have rear suspension like the 2nd Gen platinum sequoia.

Has anyone had any issues with the sensors or safety stuff after putting in a front leveling kit?

There is now a TSB TSB-0070-22 by Toyota to address this and calibrate the headlight leveling as well. I'm still waiting for my Capstone, but interested to see if someone takes theirs in for this TSB. Not sure how they are calibrating the headlight leveling..
