You leveled the front as well right? Did you have the avs system? Any adjustments to those sensors?

My 22 Platinum is two weeks old and doing the same thing. It is at the Dealer Ship for the second time.
I will take this information to them today.
Thank you all for your post.

Someone needs to work with them, they are itching to get a product to market for these tundras. I still dont have one or I would have sent my link to them already!

I crawled under there earlier. Its not as easy as just loosening that nut. There's a 9mm nut on the back thats difficult to get a wrench on and if you don't mine appears tight enough that I'll bend/break that metal tab off trying to put torque on it. Was that your experience?

It is as simple as loosening the 10mm nut and sliding that nut all the way to the bottom. There is no 9mm nut involved.

Any chance you could share profile pics before and after? Also, when you made the adjustments did you do it with truck off in mormal ride height mode? After adjustments did truck auto level to new height or did you need to mess with height controls? More I fo would be appreciated.

If the truck is off it will self level again after you start it again. you don’t need to do anything w the button.

I moved my lever all the way up and gained another 1” of ride height. Now it’s got a bit of rake which is just how I prefer it.

Can anyone with a platinum take a photo of their none AVS suspension? I’m talking to Westcott about whether their kits will fit a platinum suspension. Thanks.

Went under truck, loosened nut and pushed arm all the way up on each side. Started truck and suspension adjusted up as suggested. Got about 1. 5" additional height on rear and no more bottoming out on rubber bump stop. Sits better too with slight rake. Much better!

I am running 295/60R20 Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts on stock Platinum rims with black lugs with the non DOT side. No rubbing at all.

    what does non dot side?

so that means I could go 285/70/18 and be fine then with platinum and AVS

Which brand/set of black lugs did you go with? I see a bunch guys note for aftermarket but I plan on keeping (for now but actually liking the plat OEM rims) stock rims. Thanks.

Are you running any wheel spacers? Or just threw the 295's on the stock wheels and bolted them up?

    Hey Guys

My names Mike and I work for Revel Performance. A few in here mentioned us as we’ve been selling air suspension lifting and lowering links for Ram Trucks for years.

We are excited to get a Tundra solution out and we’ve even gone so far as to buy our own tundra! We are waiting for delivery of a 2022 Platinum but our ETA is 6 months.

if there’s anyone on here who’s got a tundra with air suspension and wants to help us out with some measurements/ photos we could look into getting something out sooner. We’d gladly send you a set to try out.

feel free to email mike@revelperformance.com if you can help!

Took my 22 tundra platinum to be lift. They installed 35/11.5/20 on stock rims. 2" on front. Rear can be adjusted from tow levels click in the dash board. It can go low, neutral or high whichever your preference. My is on high and looks pretty even. It is a new system in the 3rd generation. No need to crawl to get it done.

It seems some guys think the buttons keep the raised height when towing or hitting the highway…they don’t :

“The multi-link rear suspension provided the flexibility for the engineers to add Tundra’s new air suspension system to the rear of the truck. Available on certain grades, the system features automatic and manual leveling functions. It features height modes for High, Low and Normal. The High setting is designed for slow-speed off-road driving, and it will return to Normal height if the truck exceeds 18 mph; it also optimizes damping to reduce roll rigidity for off-road driving. Low height mode allows for ease of loading and unloading, and it will return to Normal height once the truck exceeds speeds of 8 mph.”

So if you manually raise it, once you go over 18mph, it'll lower itself?

Really curious about this cause I was looking at getting this feature as an OEM option as opposed to aftermarket bags for towing/loading up the bed.

Yes this is how it works. But as this thread details you can set the ride height by adjusting the AVS lever under the rear of the truck. That sets the default normal height and the manual and auto buttons work the same way as intended. If you need to lift rear more than 1.5” you probably need an actually lift kit.

I adjusted my Air suspension a while back and it gave me one and a half inches more clearance. I tested it out with 15, 80 pound bags of stucco, 1200 pounds and the truck only dropped a half inch.
