I haven't seen the final bill yet. I'll let you know. My price probably won't be a good barometer because this dealership is my wife's business.

Sorry, I don't. Hopefully you can get an idea from my pic. Note that I put a small slot in the new bracket too, which could have been made larger. And because the two bolts that fasten it to the factory arm (2 used to prevent it from rotating) are in the factory slot, if you use small enough hardware, you can get a little adjustment from that too if needed.PXL_20221015_005549344.jpg PXL_20221015_005554985.jpg

It crossed my mind. This is such a simple little plate. Seems that it could maybe be made with a water jet and powdercoated in volume fairly easily. Not sure why AFE has these on such a backorder. Hopefully they're not outsourcing them from China.

Mine are supposed to show up Monday. They're laser cut 304 which still isn't that hard to do.

Just an update that I had the dealer adjust this. Factor spec per the TSB is 35mm to 45mm and the dealer said mine was just barely at 35mm so they adjusted up for me. Seems like Toyota needs spec to be higher because where I was at, the L setting had the bump stops touching the metal.

All in all, it rides better now but if I really hit a bump I’m still bottoming out. Not sure I’m super happy with the rear air suspension TBH

Crank the rear neutral height arms up and you'll be happier.

I’ve got mine all the way up and still hit the bump stops coming off speed humps. I’m going at what I would say is a pretty slow speed for hitting the bump stops.

Mine are adjusted all the way up, with bigger tires, and it's much better.

Forgive me if this has already been answered (I've searched for few hours and not found a definitive answer). Has anyone had PTCCY-34000 successfully installed on a '22 Platinum with AVS and Rear Height Control Air Suspension? If so, I'd love to hear your experience with it. Thanks in advance.

I’ll check how much further I have on the adjustment arms tomorrow once it stops raining, but my general worry is that the rear will get loose at speed. I wouldn’t think they spec the max 45mm height for no reason. I also went a size up in tire so am running 275/70/18. Not a bad ride just weird that a bump in the road can cause me to bottom out

Why would your rear get loose at speed by adjusting this?

I have this combo but you'll need some additional parts. You'll need strut mount washers from a SR5. The AVS mounts slightly differently. Also you'll need different arms to adjust the rear bags. You won't quite get enough height out of the stock arms. I have AFE arms on order. If that doesn't get me where I want I'll make a custom arm.

Frustrating that Toyota doesn’t make compatibility easy to find. Sounds like the kit isn’t complete for AVS + rear air trucks. Head scratcher. Compatibility is like Product Development 101.

I'm pretty sure they say it's not compatible. We learned as we went. I can get you those front mount part numbers this week if you're interested.

@bigblue14 did the TRD kit come with replacement rear shocks by chance?

My line of thinking for those of us with rear air bags...is that we have the option to swap out the front end with better components (TRD, Icon, King, Radflow, etc) but the rear focus is only centered on the position of the arms. Why not also upgrade the shock in the rear? Either with something slightly longer to accommodate the lift via the arms (and thus not maxing out the shock travel) and/or to simply just provide stronger/better components. I understand most trucks with air in the rear are not going to run the baja 500 but for those that do the occasional off-roading it could provide beneficial, right?

I have the rear TRD shocks on but also need to get my stock ones back. I think they'll handle the height. I'm going to figure out which one I like the best.

It will be super interesting to see if the air suspension can even keep up with what a king/icon shock can do

i doubt it can but there are still shocks in the rear so replacing those would help, in theory.

Got my aftermarket arms - did some cad'in. I'm doing a print this week to confirm some dimensions. Then once I swap out the stockers, I'll cad them up to confirm my dimension, [arc radius and notch positions]. If I don't like the final height I'm going to make my own. Yes this is a lot of effort but this topic annoys me...

Did you receive yours from AFE yet? How was the fit and did it increase your new height? I'm still waiting on mine going on 21 days now.

I would be in for the PN as well. I am going to pull the trigger on the TRD kit for my Platinum with air/AVS. Did you get any warning lights from the AVS shocks being unplugged? And on the rear you just did the TRD shocks and then just modified the position sensor link? I have Westcott links here that I haven't used yet.

No warning lights (so far) from removing AVS.

Ok just picked up my Platinum Hybrid yesterday. Is there a consensus here on the "best" option for lifting the AVS/air trucks? I just want to retain the factory ride quality as much as possible and fit 35" Toyo AT3's on the stock platinum rims. Should I just get the Westcott AVS front and rear kit or is there a better option?

its going to be tough to maintain the stock AVS ride (which is supposed to be the best stock set-up for that) when adding a spacer lift and 35 load E tires.

what do you need that large of tires for, just looks? maybe drive around for a while stock and see if you really want that after you get to have the truck for a while.

    just a thought

I can't stand the tiny stock tires look. Coming from a lifted (OME) 2017 Tacoma with 33" tires. I'd sacrifice some ride quality for larger tires. What about Falken Wildpeak AT3's? They are same size as the Toyo's but load range D, not E. I ran Wildpeaks on my Tacoma and loved them.
