I recently installed the eibach /toytec coilovers set at 2.5" (1 coachbuilder shim on the driver's side) with a 1" block in the rear. I stuck to 2.5" instead of 3" simply so I could avoid getting ucas.

The truck doesn't sit exactly like I wanted. With the block it's too high in the rear and without its too low. With the block the measurements from center of wheel to fender are 24.75 in the rear and 23.75 in the front.

My question is should I install another shim up front on each side to level it out and hope I don't have alignment issues or take my 1" block and have a machinest friend of mine machine it down to 1/2 "? I'm looking to run 295 70 18 on stock trd wheels fyi.

Obviously different angles on the pictures and my driveway isn't exactly level. But I did the measurements on the garage concrete so they are correct.

I like it with rake personally...but it is your truck. You can add another shim to ds and one to pass side. I would call toytec to confirm. i did mine at 2.5 6112 one driver shim and added diff drop... but stock uca and all is well.

Get a +1 coachbuilder shackle. Although I think it looks good with the block in. Once you get some better tires you might like it.

I’m lifted only 2 inches in the front in my truck sits pretty much completely level. I’ve been thinking about going with +2 coachbuilder shackles.

Something I just thought of, I'm getting an alignment tomorrow morning at my local dealership. Would that bring up the front any at all? Wishful thinking I know, but maybe?

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll just get the alignment tomorrow and go from there. I'll probably just end up installing the coachbuilder +1 shackles. Which would be better anyways.

Honestly it doesn't look like it to me either and I've leveled every truck I've ever owned. Dummy me forgot to write down my before level measurements....i ordered these straight from toytec though.

If you plan on running 295's I would add another shim up front. You will need all the clearance you can get.

    Will it cause alignment issues?

I guess I can always get ucas as I plan to keep this truck forever. But I didn't really want to get ucas originally

I'm at 2 shims on top of pro suspension so about 3" of lift. I can still get my alignment in spec. It's hit or miss but I think youll be alright especially if you dont offroad.

Called toytec. Gave David my measurements. He said 23.75"-24" up front it right on the money 2.5" from factory. Factory being 21.25. He did mention that I could buy thier 1/2" rear leaf pack shim. Which I may try.

I just did my truck Saturday. Factory up front was 21-3/4" Driver side, 21-7/8 PS. I ended up at 24-7/16", giving me 2-9/16" of lift up front.

So that would be 21 1/4" for a stock sr5 suspension?

I would think so. I’m just TRD off-road with the added pro suspension . I also can’t remember the measurements when it was stock.

I found this. Looks like the average height for a stock truck is 21.75~

If mine is sitting at 23.75 then I did only get 2" of lift out of my coilovers which isn't what I wanted or thought I was getting...guess I'll be ordering coachbuilder shims tonight. No need in getting my alignment done tomorrow now I guess

I have 6112 and you can see the setting. I thought maybe you could see it on those eibachs.

Looking for first mods. Only got 100 miles on truck. Bought TRD air filter and air accelerator and exhaust tip from dealer. Getting tint in a few days. Bed liner included. Too much crome!!!
Thanks for the replies. I think i wanna beef up the suspension if I even have too. I plan on tires and a bit more money for the lifting part later on. Factory got 20s I wanna rock for a while. Never had dubs. Lol. Does it need reinfoced? I live up on the hill. A lot of gravel, turns uphill. Plus rough driveway

Came to my local dealership to get my alignment done. While here I measured several unleveled new and used trucks. They're all around 21.75-22" from center of hub/wheel to the fender. Something is definitely off on my eibach coilovers. I'll be calling toytec again when they open.

I noticed they have 2 different sets of eibach coilovers for our trucks. One states 2" of lift on the bottom setting, the other states 2.5" of lift on the bottom setting. Wish I would have gone a different route now.....
