I'm currently about to pull the trigger on a front level.

For those that went with 6112 from TRD OR (yellow billsteins), how is the ride like? Most I read, people say its "better" but never got much info on what that means. Is it more plush? More firm? Just trying to get a gauge on what I should be expecting. Last thing I want is do a slight level 1.3" and end up making my ride harsh. Thanks guys.

I don’t want to harsh your mellow, but I’ve had the 6112s on for about a month and they are stiffer. Mine are set to 1.3” and I love the way they make the truck ride. They might soften up in time, but right now they have added a noticeable performance upgrade. It holds and rides out corners like a coupe. And upgrading my suspension for the first time this winter, having driven Tundras for the last 18 years, my only regret is not doing it sooner. If you are into plush, I wouldn’t go the 6112.

I guess the cheapest way to find out if you should get them is to get a rear sway bar. If you like how that feels then it’s more of the same. Seems to tighten it up.

Good luck and let us know what you decide! It’s your butt in the bucket, as they say. Actually, I don’t think they say that.
    But they should.

Thanks for your input. I do have the rear bar and can't imagine being without it. It did stiffen the rear a little but the stability in turns is more than fair of a trade off.

From the few accounts I've read on the 6112, like you they mentioned it being firm but in a good way. You're the first person who broke it down more. Appreciate it.

Not going for plush per say but just want to make sure I'm not going to get a jarring ride either. I guess my next step is figuring out if the type of firmer you described is what Im looking for as well.

Thanks bud...needs to see some dirt and mud before I can claim that status.

    Appreciate it!

    Thanks....
Got the O.Z.'s via my dealer and they beat the TireRack price. Was about $2k for the wheel set. I'd have to add up the lift, wheels, tires, spacers and more for a real total.

@Mikekoot Just got them installed over the weekend. Gonna call the shop tmr and see if they can lower a little bit. It’s about an inch higher. Does it settle overtime?

    Before and After
Both with 275/65R20 basically 34inch diameter. They rubbed a little on the front mud guard and skid plate.

Maybe someone can chime in measured it out and oroginally it had about a 2-1/4rake so I added a 2in leveling spacer (spacer measures 1-1/2 thick) Now the thing has 1/4inch rake on the driver side but squats 1/2inch on the passenger

Looking from the front and rear there seems to be no lean, and both sides “look” like they squat in the rear. My though is with the level truck the CG is now farther back so the reat leafs take more weight?
Anyways I was hoping for a slight rake would a helper spring solve that?

Hope i’m posting this in the right place? If not i’d love to pointed in the right direction.

Another weird note is the steering wheel now has a slight shack at highway speeds I’m assuming the alignment shop didnt do a great job?

    Thanks!

I went 6112 Bilstein's set at 1.9 in the front and the 5160's in the rear.this leveled the truck. My reasoning and I'm not an expert was I have done some very lite off roading and it put that front skid to the test a few times. Just my 2¢
