That’s probably a $700 knife. Pretty funny you’re bidding against your bride!
You managed to not buy a new knife for almost 2 weeks, congratulations!

it’s crazy how much knives can go for! I am into guns more than knives, like them both, but $700 gets me a new Glock. Again I’m not knocking knives as I have a few myself, see past pics in this thread, just have way more guns. You custom knife guys/forgers are legit bad arse to me……..

Boooo, what’s better than a Sig man, a GLOCK man!! I joke I joke I kid I kid. I’m a huge proponent of you do you and what you like. Some people hate Glocks, but that’s my Thang!! Been using them and having them for damn near 35 years now. I do have a couple Sigs too don’t get me wrong, but Glocks and all their plastic blockyness is all me. Sorry guys don’t mean to high jack the knives thread, my bad!!:hattip::threadjacked:

It came up immediately. She texted to let me know she tried to get it but lost at the last second. I did let her open the package as a consolation prize.

Yep, I’m not giving up any Glocks! My preferred carry, however, is a Walther.

These arrived this afternoon. What a great sight! Photos do not do these knives any justice. They are great in real person in your hand!

do not know why the handles look a little red because they are not! Perfect shade of Brown, and it all looks great together!!:)

Good decision. Now just a fillet knife for deboning and a bread knife and you're set.

    It’s all good.
The grip just doesn’t work for me. My only “Glock” is on a P80 frame.
But I’m not gonna judge someone else’s love for the them. I can certainly appreciate their simplicity and effectiveness

I might have missed it, but I’ve been around here for a while. It seems like there’s been 3 other knife makers that I’ve encountered on this forum. Two are really professional shops doing nice custom mono steel folders with machine tools and a staff. Haven’t seen any posts by either one of them in a long time. The other guy was here pretty recently and I believe is more of a hobbyist, like myself. I don’t have a business. Retired several years ago and picked up where I left off before I had to make a living. Most everyone here are just good folks that share a passion for sharp pointy things..

My post simply was stating that anyone (whether actual members of this forum or people like i used to be and just read for entertainment and ideas) who can take a block/ball/spring/whatever of metal and turn it into a knife are held in high regards by me. Doesn’t matter if you do it for profit or fun. It’s a skill set I do not posses and one I wish I did. So again…”You custom knife guys/forgers are legit bad arse to me……..

Guns are for women. If I’m mad enough to kill somebody, I’m damned sure not going to do it quickly and from far away.
