Titanium prybar? No clue what I’d use one for but suddenly I cannot live without it

Glad they are 5 hours from me. Otherwise I might be dry humping their front door

That’s pretty amazing staining on those scales! I would like to know how that’s done.

Decided to post my carry knives but I don't consider myself a collector. I carry the full size Bugout most of the time.
2nd pic is my "Gentlemens knife".
3rd pic is the only knife I have that went up in value since I bought it new.
Last pic I cleaned out the junk drawer too. The 7th knife from the left holds a special place in my life, which resulted in the last picture :anonymous:

I've got that Gerber. Was my hunting knife until I got me a @gosolo knife. That last pic is epic. I think we need the story.

That Gerber Freeman in S30V was a Cabela's exclusive somewhere around 2010 and I think I paid $89. I see them at $219 now.

The thing I like the most is that between the pattern welded steel and handle materials the creative options are literally limitless. Now, I’ve added stabilizing and casting to the handle options as well as doing my own leather work. I’m trying to do everything in-house, pretty much. Very little technology. Pretty ‘old school’

No idea how they do it. It’s generally engraved and stained. CRK does both computer generated graphics of some standard designs, along with what they call “unique graphics” on some, which is what that one is.

You used to be able to order them with unique graphics, and you’d get whatever their designer came up with. Whoever bought that one likely got the only one ever made with that design.
I don’t think they really do it nowadays. Production is so far behind that you can really only order plain ones directly from them. The ones with inlays or graphics only go to their distributors now.

That one was the prettiest I’ve seen but it was 850 bucks which is why someone else bought it and not me.
