I had to look up what a gravity chair is. Oddly enough I actually have one. It’s on my balcony collecting spider webs and wasp nests.

At first the one I wanted wasn’t available, so I ordered my second choice. Then it was and I tried to cancel the first one but it was too late. Just need to return the extra one.

My family had Encyclopedia racks. It had a similar set of acetate multi-layer human Anatomy sections. It showed in color and intensity, differences in bone, fat, muscle, vascular, nervous, urinary, GI, etc.... It allowed me to slowly overlay system by system anatomy. Fantastic for a 6 year old kid! Here I am decades and thousands of patients later, doing medicine. Right on Joe and Sybil!

I finished this one today. 184 layers of 15n20 & 1084 Damascus F55CBE00-06B8-4839-ACCF-50D5843C6EE8.jpg 94AC3CBC-023E-4346-AD48-8A7A5CC0D254.jpg 0B2EFDA2-13FC-426F-920B-A16CE7CFA961.jpg 4FC53DC8-79D1-481D-804B-C166AB81A04F.jpg It’s a special order from @ToyoMafia . I didn’t think I would be making any more of these, but since Tom holds the patent, I figured it was fine, lol

Picked up an Esee 3 with the S35VN steel this time since I won't be beating on it like I do the Esee 6.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTQ6Y9neeTY

Also picked up a Spyderco Emphasis. Was disappointed where it was made, didn't notice until after purchase, but this thing is scary sharp. Like surgical instrument sharp. Have to be careful deploying this one. My brother got one also and has already taken off several layers of skin. :D

So... all the dudes that paid to have a limited edition: :mad::mad::mad: ....cuz the value of their estates just went down!!!! :boink:

    Limited Edition is defined as...

an edition of a book, or reproduction of a print or object, limited to a specific number of copies

... key word there being "specific"

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

There's nothing in that definition that suggests it's an immutable number. Look at it this way - - There are 206 bones in the adult human body. A totally limited number of bones, right? Well, if you get both your legs broken in two places each, how many bones do you have then? Sorry for the mafioso analogy, and I'm glad we can all agree I properly used the word anal.

But, there's a flaw in that analogy... If someone orders (1) pizza, it doesn't matter many slices it's cut into... it's still (1) pizza!!!

Seven of nine is OK with me. The later versions usually have the bugs worked out.

But you made my point. A limited edition is still a limited edition, even if the number of slices change. Or slicers, as it were.

... additionally, the definition can not contain the "immutable number" as that number is always different and to be determined and documented at the time of the release!!!

However, here is your "immutable number" disclosure....

8pm est Next Friday 6/17/22 the knives will be live! There are only 5 of them. Each knife is a unique masterpiece by our own custom knife maker @gosolo

This stuff happens all the time. Artists are commissioned to do reproductions or prints all the time.

It’ll never be one of the originals.
Ray could make these till he dies and it’ll never actually be one of the originals.

If I’d had the funds to share, I’d have been hammering that buy now button (though I’d still probably have missed out based on my shitty internet).

Tom can authorize as many additional ones as he wants, and Ray can make them. They are awesome knives in their own right, and still an amazing testament to the craftsmanship and beauty that Ray is capable of. They will still hold an amazing amount of value - like an authentic Warhol print. They are unique, special, and awesome.

But they will never be “one of six” from the original commission.
