I saw someone did a review on it … I think it was metal complex but when in the push dagger position it doesn’t lock so it’s a bit squirrelly

that was many beers ago so my memory may be a bit hazy

I don’t usually post pictures of my failures. Somehow the steels got mixed up and I ended up with a blade that has over 200 layers and a ‘cool pattern’ that you can not see cause it’s all the same 1095 steel. Damn it! So I used it to try out my first fractal burned handle scales.
Wasn’t sure if it would work out; the wood had to be basically completely finished before the fractal burn and then stabilized before attaching it to the blade and refinishing. I was worried that the burn design would be sanded out. 756230E0-58A1-46D1-8D22-ED348246AF4B.jpg

Actually it has become the most used knife in the kitchen for both my wife and I.

I don’t have any experience with that one, but WE makes some quality knives. Same company that makes Civivi, which are great knives at budget prices. WE is their higher end category.
Only thing I’ve heard about this one is that you have to be pretty careful closing it.

It is intriguing to me because it’s a real design innovation. Extremely rare in the world of knives. (I am not counting the genre of ‘fantasy’ knives).
With very few exceptions, knife designs haven’t changed for thousands of years. Refinements, yes, but design, not so much. Adding details, fancy materials and better steel are fine and good. Much of the stuff being marketed looks pretty cool but when you look at a lot of the sharp edges and angular pieces, I find that they frequently are less useful than more. If it’s comfortable in your hand and fits well you can use a knife for a long time without fatigue or blisters.

I had a Gerber Ghoststrike just lying around so I decided to add this "mod" to my center console.

This blade had two pretty good nicks in it. They sharpened right out in a few minutes

pretty sure I could have gotten a mirror polish with a little more work

That one is a beast. Pretty big for a push knife. If you get one, keep it oiled, that steel will rust. Plus you will probably want to wrap the handle.
A while back, you could get it for under $30, on sale.

That sharpening tool looks like a great purchase for as many knives as you have! Through the years I have had quite a few different types and always end up finishing up with my 1000g Arkansas stone, by hand.
2 problems with this one, for me; I generate so much metal dust and filings in my shop everything with magnets gets to looking like it has fur, lol! And every so often I do a specialty Asian knife and want less than 15 degrees.
I’m curious how long the diamond grit lasts, keep me posted, please.
