    You bet it is. One of the ranch residents is a log home builder. These are little log cabins for renting for trail riding. There are probably a dozen log structures out there. Pretty nice area with world class horse trails.

    No we fared really well. Making the drive in October helped, probably saw less than a dozen vehicles a day and most were going South and very few semi-trucks. However, AK uses pea gravel on all the roads in the winter and that has got me!
