Desert east of San Diego. First picture is at Superstition Mountain which is a big sandy mountain that's popular with OHVs. Second one is at the Salton Sea. They apparently used to use that old dock for naval testing in WWII.

I'm still amazed by how many 1st gens I see each time I drive. Salt hasn't killed a ton here.

This DC that passed us today was very clean.

There’s a few still up here, the frames are musty nasty on a lot.

I don’t see much of any trucks older than 2000 these days. All of the trucks fall victim, but there’s just soo many more domestics over the tundras that it makes the rust issue look worse. Yet I’ve had to condemn more chevies and fords that are getting traded in than Toyota’s. Lol

Looks nice. How are the cv boots? I ask because it looks like that front end is close to maxed out at ride height. Unless there's a diff drop or drop brackets.

KarmaKannon, The former owner put the 3" spacer on the front end. I'm not a fan and the cv is at a lot steeper angle than I'd like. I'll either remover the spacer ( back end also has a lift block ) or look into drop brackets. I'd like to squeeze 305's in there so the lift might stay and I'll need 1&1/4 " spacers on the axles running the stock wheels.

Good thinking. Are you looking at about a 305/70/16 or 17"?
