Yes, 2WD. So how does one accomplish the -1/-2 setup?

This is the only one I have scoured up so far...

    https://www.suspensionlifts.com/sho...ring-kit-for-2001-2006-toyota-tundra-2wd-4wd/

I am sure I could save you the repaint expense. I don't like the look of camper caps vs. tonneaus, but they are extremely useful. I had one on my Tacoma and found it useful.

Lowering the front 1" might be a little tricky, but it could be done with the SOS 2/3.5 drop kit and some Bilstein 5100's.
So the kit is meant to lower the front 2", but if you use the B5100 shocks instead of the B4600 shocks, you have the ability to adjust the front up some. Now don't quote me on this, but I would think whatever setting would normally give you 1" of lift would be the setting you would want to go with, paired with the SOS 2" lowering parts.

Now the rear I can certainly speak to from experience. If you want to lower the rear 2" you can either try one of those lowering shackles available on eBay and Amazon, or what I did was:
Install the SOS kit, which is an axle flip kit, but also install an add-a-leaf set for your leaf springs and rear B5100's. That should put you closer to the 2" mark and give you plenty of load capacity.

See above comments from assdog on that 1st line.

On your 2nd line, careful with SuspensionLifts (formerly BilsteinLifts), they really put me thru the ringer, and have screwed over one or two others here.

RE: Tonneaus/Caps/etc. if you prefer tonneaus, I also have a Bakflip Fibermax (pics), see the 2nd/3rd pic there, I got it cheap, so I'd let it go for half as much as I'd sell my cap.

RE: Clear bra removal (pics), should be ample info there to do the job. If you need a heat gun and plastic flat blades, I can hook you up. Don't mind helping either.

Thx for all that. I already have a tonneau for it. Too bad I didn't wait, but I didn't.

I will say, of those three pics, that 1st one of the tonneau, it kept rain out but it sucked for anything except that and obscuring what was in the bed.

The 2nd and 3rd pic, of the Bakflip specifically (which I dunno if it's actually a "tonneau" because it's rigid vs. stretched), which is what I have in storage right now, that thing was great. You basically could reclaim all but about 3" of your bed when needed, without removing it. Upside is, it can hold a couple hundo pounds, which made it lay-on-able. Downside is, it covers the back window when folded all the way up to open the bed.

I've found a few times recently when I regretted having the cap, knowing I have no easy way to take it off, given our housing situation. Like when I went to go get a chest freezer recently, you're not supposed to lay cooler-type things with compressors/oil on their side, or if you do, upright them for 12-24 hours afterward so the oil settles in the system. I needed to help a friend move a washer/dryer and we had to lift up the cap, put them both in, then drop the cap. Getting mulch and soil for the yard/garden is basically impossible with it on now.

I wish I had a hoist system for the cap. Would make life easier. With the Bakflip, at least I could still do everything I needed/wanted to haul stuff.

The best arrangement I've had was a high-top cover on my Tacoma. It would have gotten the W/D pair but not the frig. My Ridgeline had the 3-pice hard cover like the Bak-flip. I didn't like that it robbed height in the bed (and it was heavy). The tonneau I have now on the Tundra is a roll-up velcro thing that I"m not real crazy about except that it doesn't rob from the bed height and it gives the full opening when rolled. I may have been the first person here to get a Tundra. I bought a new 2000 Tundra when the first came out. Before that I bought a new T100 when it first came out in 1994. My 2000 Tundra had an Extang Trifecta style cover which seemed often in the way.

You may want to throw a "watch" up on this thread. I keep a pretty close eye on camper shells within ~100 miles of ATL and post in there. Here's a shortcut link to watch that thread.

You can also do what I did, like here's a truck with the almight windoors on the side camper: You may toss 'em an offer. I threw out a range, "I'll give you anywhere between $300-700 for the cap alone depending on whether it's got cracks, all glass is intact, locks and shocks work, electronics work, if you'll separate", although you may want to toss out $400-$1,000 on that specific one.

I don't think we were within the ring last night and still saw them. It was surprising. People as far south as Florida saw them.
