Curious, I see the seat middles are perforated, are they covers you bought and installed, or upholstery shop work?

I'd love to see what it looks like under your valve covers also :D

They were re-done using Katzkin (as close to original as I could get)...maybe sometime in the future I will pull the valve covers and take some pics. Currently running Seafoam through the oil for a bit to help clean up any old oil/sludge from sitting for years. Maybe I should do some before and after pics, hmmm :monocle:

That red paint looks fantastic. Have you had the timing belt done as part of your restoration?

Had the timing belt done about a year ago...and the "red paint" is the original Sunfire Red Pearl. My paint guy told me it is now only used on high end vehicles like Lexus. One gallon cost me almost $800!!

Awesome. Definitely take pics. Lots of pics. I can show you what a couple of us low-mile guys found under ours. It wasn't pretty. Seafoam in the crankcase will help. I'm going through several treatments of Seafoam 'high mile' in the crankcase, driving for 500mi, then oil change. I'm on round 2 or 3 at this point. I can tell things are less varnished already.

Thanks!! I'm running Methods 305, 285/70/17 Federal Couragia M/T with 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers. For suspension I am running toytec Aluma 2.0 adjustable coilovers set at 2.5" of lift with Camburg UCAs. Besides the tires being a bit loud the ride quality is excellent.

@805Tundra do you have any rubbing up front off road with 285s?

Yep, rubbed on the frame originally. After putting the spacers on I rubbed on the pinch weld. Hammered that back and eliminated rubbing. At full compression I’m sure it will rub a little bit but for daily driving I have no rubbing

You know the REAL 1st Gen is the T100. Tundras are just a 2nd Gen T100’s.

Got some new shoes and the camper back on. picked up the wheels for 50 bucks and dipped them black and then took the falkens off my wife's 4runner and put on some less aggressive dueler all terrains on her car. Have come a long way since I started the restore process.

Looks good. I'd been hunting for a spare in those 5-spoke splits for eons and coming up dry. Everyone wants minimum $375 for a set, and won't split. Even the junkyards are dry.

What size Wildpeaks did you swap over?

I wouldn't have guessed those were 265/75, they look more like 275/70 to me. Huh. Looks good anyway!
