2015 Bobcat Pro Cat with a peco bagger system installed. Just under 700 hours. Picked it up from a small lawn care company early last year. Runs like new and got a heck of a deal. I used to blow leaves for 3 hours just to clear the yard, the bagger will do it in 20 minutes.

Just picked this up yesterday. Loving it so far. Big upgrade from my old snapper. It handles slopes better than any mower or tractor I've ever used. 20220601_115311.jpg

Work from home boredom has me flipping lawn mowers. Latest project: trying to peice together 2 parts Hrx217's I found to make 1 good one.

After a 3 hrs of chasing nuts and bolts and watching hrx servicing videos on YouTube, I pieced together 1 working HRX. Photo shot next to my timemaster.

They rode down the highway for about 8 miles to get a six pack. You can’t see her teeth here, but it doesn’t matter. She didn’t have any. Took 3 of us to figure out that she was looking for Coors Light. I immediately thought of the Waterboy.

Resized_20220421_082430.jpg Bought this Simplicity Broadmore last year. Upgraded tires because of a hill in the front yard and traction issues. I also had to paint the hitch pin the same color as the tractor....yes, I'm "one".Resized_20220609_094304.jpg Cuts as well as my old JD GT 225.Resized_20210720_085355.jpg

New to me as of about 6:00pm tonight. I mowed our 2.5 acres, then our neighbors 2 acres. The combination on the Comfort Glide operating station as well as a suspension seat is amazing. I also have a Scag Turf Tiger which is amazing also. The Deere is quite a bit more comfortable and hydros are a good bit smoother. The cut is amazing with the 7 Iron deck. I honestly could not be more impressed!

I’m a huge John Deere fan and currently have an L118 but I really want a Cub Cadet zero turn with the steering wheel for mowing slopes.

Since there's no Snow Blower thread... I do have to take it across a chunk of my grass, so it kinda counts.

Got a mower question for yous guys.
12 year old Husqvarna with 24 hp BS motor, I've done fare job of seasonal oil and filter changes, plugs included. Had some welding done on the deck after one of the mounts broke but other than that, all good. I've only run non-ethanol in it since i've had it.
End of fall season I was having a hard time getting it to crank, battery good, it would spin the starter no problem. Had to use starter fluid to get'er going. After it cranked up it ran fine, getting it good and hot didn't seem to help. Still struggles to crank but it will crank without starter fluid.

What do you think is wrong? Really hate the idea of buying a new one especially after I just got the mower deck repaired.

If I understand correctly and it turns over good with starter but no start its probably the carburetor
I suggest running some fuel system cleaner through it if that doesn't work you probably need to rebuild/clean the carburetor

I like this fuel system cleaner

either valves need to be adjusted, carb needs cleaning or replacement, or you have the dreaded loss of compression. Mowers eat a lot more dust than our cars do. Our yard was pretty dusty. Even with the high mount air filter and frequent oil changes, the rings ate themselves. Our 16 year old 60” Hustler Super Z with a 24hp Kawi Vtwin finally died. We upgraded to a newer version of the motor with 28hp. New motor was $2k all in. Pretty much plug and play though. Paid $6.5k for the mower in 06. New ones are $10k or more. Worth it.
