    HELL YEAH!!!!

THAT...IS...AWESOME!!! The desert is a mystery to me. I'm originally from the burbs of Atlanta and although i've lived in more states than most of my friends have visited i have little to NO experience in a dry climate like that. I'm envious of that world at times. Don't get me wrong...i wouldn't trade my views for anything but the desert is such a mystery i think about it constantly and every time i'm in Utah or Arizona or Nevada I'm flipping my head around just to take it all in and imagine what it would be like to "be over there on that side of that rock formation!"
Your off road trails are way different than ours here...not that i'm a veteran, but i've done enough to know what it's about. Most of my pursuits are downhill at really high speeds on a snowboard or plowing 4 feet of fresh powder on a snowmobile.

We get some snow but its not often and doesn't last long. This is just up the road from the house. We only have 8,000 peaks right here. the 10,000+ are an hour or two drive.

My wife worked in a bank and had a lot of hot coworkers in addition to her friends from hs. What can I say, it was SoCal and there are just tons of the hottest women everywhere. Unfortunately all this took place in the mid to late '90s when I bought the house. Now it's my sons and their friends and all the smokin hotties that show up at my front door. I'll take pictures next time which may be this weekend. That won't be creepy will it..? o_O

The bathroom window looks out over the pool. I often felt like Judge Reinhold in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. You know the scene when Phoebe Cates climbs out of the pool... 'cept I remembered to lock the door. :-0

Hmmm that's odd... I've got a DE filter and have never experienced anything like that. I just recently tore it down and replaced all the grids. Got tired of replacing one or two then another would blow out and shoot crap all back into the pool.

From eight years ago. Our 25th anniversary. 33rd is this Friday. Been some changes, hot tub is gone, solar panels are gone, deck remodeled, crappy barn shed replaced with 12 x24 shop/shed, lost a lot of the landscaping last year due to flooding from Mathew, working to fix that now. If the current rain ever stops I'll try to get a couple of updated snapshots.

Matthew and the other storm did that to me, and a lot of others in this area, in September. I just got it fixed on mother's day. The guy specializes in leak detection and liner repair.
