    Okay so a 16x8 wheel with a 265 75 r16 wheel would fit fine

In theory, I think it should be do-able. What is stock, so we can compare? This is where you're add on width/height/ and appropriate wheel dims for 265/75r16:

Will a 16" wheel clear the larger 2004 front brakes?

So you're looking to go from a 17" wheel to a 16" wheel? With a 16x8" wheel on 285/75/16s, you'll need to get a wheel with a negative offset or at most 0mm. OEM toyota wheels are a positive offset, so without spacers you might run into clearance issues. Edit: Misread 265/75/16 as 285. I agree with shifty those would work in theory though.

You actually may be right. For whatever reason I thought he'd be running closer to 30.5 diameter on his current tires thus only adding about an inch, which is minimal. The jump to 265/75/16 is nothing to scoff at with height, with 2.5" more over what he's running today.

I'd be tempted to risk it, but if @Bmktw2 wanted to be a little more less risky with his choices, 265/70r17 is the 'safer' option. AC/RC seem to have more stuffability over DC. Here's what he's currently running, vs. 265/70r16 just below it, which adds the same sub-half-inch width, but only 1.5" diameter, which will definitely be beefier.

(EDIT: Important to note, your speedo will be off a few mph at 1.5" diameter change, almost doubly so at 2.5" diameter change)

I remember there's a clearance concern with certain year calipers and 16" wheels, but I don't remember the numbers off-hand.

Those wheels look great on your truck. Super jealous of your camper shell btw. Your whole setup is awesome.

I was looking at a set of Tacoma wheels but thought the offset difference was to much and may rub. Tundra 15mm to Tacoma 25mm was I right?

Find them in this thread and you'll see if they fit. Someone undoubtedly has them already in here.

I looked through this whole thread and didn’t see the wheels that are in my truck anywhere. I know they are OEM Toyotas but did they not come on the tundra? I may just be cheap and dip them gloss black soon. I saw a few that were close but not the exact wheel.

I believe they're Lexus wheels. I think you'll find at least a couple of examples in this thread.

I don't know what it means either, but they came on the 2010+ GX460 and appear to be an 18" wheel. The part number is 42611-60890 and/or 42611-60870. I don't know what the difference is between those two part numbers, but usually when the last two numbers are the only change, it's a small change, i.e. color, maybe backspace, or other small characteristics.

Our '06 AC V8 SR5 2WD came with those wheels and 265/70-16 tires.

I went through all 28 pages and only saw a handful of Desert Sand Mica trucks lol. I'm imagining silver wheels look best (like OE) but does anyone have a Desert Sand Mica?

There's a set of FJ Cruiser "phone dials" on sale locally. I'm tempted but I need to spend money on tires and suspension first lol.

This thread is for stock Toyota wheels. So all you should be seeing in here is OEM/stock styles and colors.

If you want non-OEM wheels and some color variety, you can find some deals over here in the Marketplace: https://www.tundras.com/forums/marketplace-wheels-tires.49/

I've seen Toyota wheels that have been re-colored in this thread?

Anyone out there with a Desert Sand Mica?

Other than OE color? Sorry, I'm still not following. Toyota is OE, so I'm getting hung up on "Toyota wheels other than OE". It's like saying "OE wheels other than OE" in my brain. I'd like to understand, maybe I can link you to something you're looking for.
