Sorry I know this is an older post but did or do you have lots of rock kick back with that tire setup?

Question for you TRD Pro Owners

    1. Do you polish and wax the black trim on a TRD Pro? It's a plastic... I ended up using some 303 Protectant on it...
    2. Any tricks to getting polish/wax out of emblems/nooks and crannies?

A pretty close buddy of mine just highly recommended using claybar on my truck. Full disclaimer, I don't know much about it and have not tried it yet. I did see what his Harley looked like after using it and it looked great. He didn't use it on the chrome, only plastic. On the chrome he used some other product with the word blue in it(maybe blue magic) if I recall correctly, warning I'm not known for my short term memory, I couldn't tell you what I had for dinner last night. He also said it was very time consuming, more so doing all the chrome like spokes ect,not as much time with the claybar, however after applying it once he said he's now good for the year. Again, I can't speak from my own experience and last thing I want is you to blame me if it messes up something on your truck. Do your own research on it, I'm just relaying something he just told and showed me yesterday. I think he said 1 of the 2 products were a bit pricey though. That's coming from a big badass biker with a 20k bike and 10k in extras. He'd want to kill me if I told u everything like he's in a biker gang so forgive me for leaving that part out. Lol. I didn't ask how much they were so I don't know if they for real expensive or just cost a good amount for something simple like some puddy. His HD looked great though, I felt it and it definitely puts a nice clear shiny layer of protection on it. That I can confirm for ya first-hand. It might be worth looking into. If you end up going with it please let us know how it turns out with the details and a pic of course. Good luck

Yes and I love em. Nitto RG's with a 1.25 spacer. Looks great with and without flares. Only thing I can't attest to is how long they'll last with my heavy ass foot.

Alright question for anybody who still has a stock suspension/tires on their TRD Pro...

I'm having to change what garage I park in at work... Which has a 7'0 clearance... to either a garage with 6'8 or 6'10... Would our truck clear that? Stock ride the TRD Pro is supposedly 75''-77'' which is 6ft 3in or 6ft 4in

What is the lowest clearance you have comfortably parked in?

    TRD Pro Height
    75''-77'' or 6ft 3in - 6ft 4in

    Garage Height
    7ft or 84in
    6'10 or 82in
    6'8 or 80in

if my stock antenna hits i don't even attempt to go in. I'm sure there is a few inches more height off the stock antenna but your call if you want to try it.
at cosmopolitan in vegas it was a really close garage as you got to the lower levels(first level was like 7'2 then went to like 6'11 or something the next floor). I had to remove my mag mount antenna and it was really cutting it close to the pipes and maneuvered around the lower signs.

Yes definitely. And the clearance between the UCA and the tire is way to close for my liking.

I agree, besides the more aggressive stance it gives the truck, 1 whole pinky of clearance is way to close for my comfort. That's the issue with running stock rims. I figured I paid for them when I got the truck and do really like the stock wheels. Even so I was going to pay for aftermarket wheels bc of this issue. I was talked into by some mechanics that nowadays there's really not much difference between running a good quality spacer and a rim that pushes out further. It was then I hit the jackpot realizing by not changing a rim I liked anyway I had myself an extra grand to spend on some other goodies. Justified it to myself that I was getting Dave Elkstrom's shims, shackle, bushings and steer kit for free in my mind.

6' 8 at work but with spacers and 33" on m yTundra. Still have about 1". I wouldn't go lower than 6'8 for peace of mind. Btw I hit with my antenna all the time.

that's good to know! so after hitting the antenna we would have about 1" of lee-way before grazing the roof.
@az1441 has a monster! suprised that thing clears!!

a bit more. When you hear the antenna, probably 2 to 3" left.

1" is too close for my comfort especially in a big structure...if one of the floors was finished on a Friday you might be closer to the beams..

also take into account tire pressure and if Truck is loaded when you get close to 1"

I should already know this answer...

Does the Pro come stock with a spray in bed liner?
Specifically the Canadian model... I can't find a positive answer and to find one in person before mine arrives probably won't happen either.

    Thanks!

It is an option, especially if you ordered one to be built.

Also while the factory liner is now with the tundra symbol and all, factory liners are thinner than getting like a liner sprayed. A liner or like bed liner will also cover more. The factory has a bare spot between the bed and the hate (typically where things get into).

There was a scheduled build already in queue to far to change anything. We tried even color, but no dice from Toyota.
Sadly I work at a dealership but even asking through our rep we can't confirm if this is standard or not. Some of our print material says it is, while some other stuff doesn't mention it.

The accessory list only offers the drop in plastic line as a dealer installed, which I won't be doing. I'll be taking it over for Line-X worse case scenario, but if its stock like on the Plat. model then we'll have that Toyota embossed front on it.
