    Hey all,
New to the forum and Toyota, picked this baby up a few weeks ago and love it. It's a 2023 and had 16000 miles, still trying to decide to dechrome or not dechrome.

I think this color needs a little chrome to pop. That blue with black accents looks dull to me.

I hear ya, I keep going back and forth between dechroming it or leaving it. It's not easy but leaving it with the chrome is certainly cheaper
It's a work in progress and I have all the time I need except for when I get antsy and want shit done right away:goingcrazy:

Ha I put blue mirror caps on mine - so some dechroming on my end. I might change the moustache but that will be it.

Not a lick of chrome, and that's fine with me.
(Sorry about the poor framing and background, I suck at the photography.)

Might do a little contrast with the wheels when I finally put 18's on it.
    Bronze maybe? Not decided yet.

It's not a flashy, in your face blue, like Voodoo, but damn it's pretty when it's clean.

I was this close to pulling the trigger on a MGM Limited before I found this one.

I am considering buying a 1794 blueprint with the TRD off road package. What do the wheel trims on this combo look like and what is involved in getting them and the door handles color matched and rough cost of doing each? Also - any photos of the rear of a 1794 with TRD off road package? Thanks!

@TunraRyan68, what leveling kit are you planning on? I’ve been wanting to do the same.

I bought the 1.75” kit from rough country. Not very impressed with it though. It’s plastic

I'm going middle ground here for the OP.
I think my Limited with the TRD Off Road pkg. suits the no chrome look.
I think the upper trims, 1794 and Platinum, look good with SOME chrome.
However, the front end that is ALL chrome is just too much for me. It's mostly the mustache.
If it were mine, I'd color-match the mustache and possibly also the lower "Tundra" fog light valence, and leave the grille alone.

In the end it's all personal taste. Make it look how you want; you're the one that has to look at it every day.

    You and me both.
Hopefully @fat_marshmallow won't mind me answering for him.... and correct me if I'm wrong.
Wheels are DX4 Capers in Frozen Bronze. 18x9 +12...I think.
I didn't save the specs on his tires other than they're 35's and I see Kumho on the sidewall.
He posted in the huge 3rd gen wheel/tire thread quite a while back.
Pretty sure headlights are Alpharex Nova series.
    Gorgeous truck.

thanks fellas. and BlackNBlu you are correct,

    wheels are 18x9 +12 DX4 capers. on 35x12.5 Kumhos
1.75" RC leveling kit with Airlift airbags in the back.
headlights are the Alpharex Luxx series, not the novas that everyone gets lol. I had the basic reflector headlights so these were a huge upgrade.
