What are you guys doing for flares?

Mine is coming in September. Am wondering if I go for black or get color matched flares?

    Pics?

I got the truck 10 days ago, but was busy and didn't really get it out until last week and then was out of service. This is in Capitol Reef National Park:

Here's mine, fairly fresh from the dealership. Have it in today for a partial front 3m wrap and a block heater, it gets cold during winters here in BC.

I love the look! I've had my blueprint for almost a month now and trying to get it where I want it.
Where did you tap your lights into?

Been thinking about some red inlays for the front and rear too.

1 month old and 3,000 miles. 22.1MPG average. Just did an Asheville to Greenwich RT on the shit roads of I-81 and I-95. I learned two things- 1. AVS works so much better than I knew. It does an amazing job of smoothing the roads and makes my wife love the truck. 2. Pennsylvania and New Jersey taxpayers should demand a refund for the lousy infrastructure.

Zero issues with the truck. Everything works as it should. Panel fit and finish inside is excellent.

Amen for PA Turnpike is a mess with construction!! Every couple of months the tolls keep going up.
After I adjusted the hight sensors the AVS is awsome!
Update: Can't make this stuff up

decided to get a clean wash and manual wipe down to get some real decent pics instead of using a cellphone camera and use a decent dslr camera. dont mind the 1 way sign, its part of the local school drivers training pad.

these were cropped down from 4.8k x 3.2k so i wouldnt take up so much forum storage space.

edit : forgot to add the standard backdrop pic of the big M that i usually have in all my vehicle photos

As part of purchase I got the glass coat stuff

I had to wait a bit since I had everything color matched prior to delivery so we had to wait for the new paint to cure

so I just went back in and they washed , clay bar, etc and put on the glasscoat

it came out put pretty well and didn’t cost a fortune

Had my f150 done before the transmission started crapping out. SB320230107_180016.jpg $600 for two or three year.
Nice how easy it was to clean!
Finally got my ESP warranty canceled and almost 3 months later I just got the check, so the Tundra is next.

Mine is ceramic coated as well. Easy to keep clean. First tinted windshield I've had. Really nice to keep the heat out.

One of the things I thought I'd miss moving from an F150 to the Tundra is the large greenhouse the Ford has. To the contrary, I really enjoy the "shorter" glass with the Tundra. Especially on longer trips of which I've already done three in the past 5 weeks.

I think the ceramic coatings look best on darker metal flake. Blue maybe has the best effect but I saw a red capstone that was coated and it looked fantastic.

Good point , the smaller greenhouse is nicer on trips , more of an airplane cockpit. So far , I dig it

going to tow for 600 miles in a day at the end of August, I’m curious how it will perform

It’s a proven fact that the blueprint trucks drive better and produce up to 10% more power.

All kidding aside, I did 1600 miles round trip last week. I was really pleased with how well sorted the engine and transmission is at 2000-2500 rpm. Zero hunting. Also, the Google based navigation is a really good system. I was using it almost continuously. I like being able to flip easily between the native system and CarPlay.
It’s a nice road trip vehicle.

it’s amazing how easy it is to keep clean. I actually did mine about 10 days ago and it still likes like it was just done. It is money well spent.

I little better pic after I wiped it down. The blueprint defiantly responds to a good prep and coating.

We are now a part of Team BluePrint. It is definitely a color changer. I traded my 20 Tacoma TRD OR on Monday. The 1st Mate is enjoying the ride too.
