Just re-read this thread and found your pics with the Falken's. Then I went and checked pricing on them compared to a few other tires, and dammit if they aren't also cheaper than even the 275/70's I was looking at. Looks like I'm gonna be running some Falken's here before too long, unless I stumble across a crazy discount through work (not holding my breath tho).

No rubbing at all. They are skinny coming in at less than 11.5 width. I can go full reverse lock flat/uphill/downhill left and right. Haven't given them the stuff it test yet.

I’m about to go 295/70/18 on stock wheels and want to throw 1.25 inch bora spacers on for stance purposes. Most of what I’ve read says the 295/70 will fit with the removal of the front mud flap, but will the spacers ruin that?

I don't have any real world experience with the spacers my self but I do run 295/70s. I'm almost positive spacers will create rubbing issues.

Have you done the stuff test yet? How different does the truck feel? Any loss of power?

I’m leaning toward these 285/75s. Seems they fit better than the 295/70s with less rubbing and they clear the UCA a little better, too.

The 285/75r18 is almost 3” taller than the stock 275/65r18...I believe @woofhauler was planning to see how the larger diameter tires fit when the suspension’s up travel is maxed out and the tire is “stuffed” into the wheel well.

Guess it was implied by the thread title. 295/70R18's
I may end up pulling the front mudflaps - I was backing out of my MIL's driveway tonight and at full turn to the right going backwards I could hear it rub just a little. I think I need a little more air in them too.

Right on point, but haven't tested yet. I'm confident at least because they are narrow. I'm road trippin next week to someplace rocky.

It'll clear even at full flex, I had to reverse out of a tricky trail and was at full flex front and rear, no rubbing.

No shit - I've never seen that kind of mileage in my previous or current truck. But about 1/3 of my commute is into/out of the hills.

@vbb As for the mileage drop, did you use any sort of calibrator on your truck after upsizing the tires? Have you checked/tracked your speed using a GPS or radar against what the speedometer is reading? When I installed my hypertech calibrator and got everything dialed in, I'm seeing that the "true" difference from factory tires to my Falken Wildpeaks is in the neighborhood of a 1.046 factor (the actual speed is 4.6% higher than what the trucks computer thinks it is, which means that the miles your odometer records are also about 4.5% less than actual miles traveled). If you work that math into the MPG calculation, you can expect to see your displayed MPG to drop from 15.8 to about 15.1 just from the miscalculation happening due to the speed/odometer discrepancy. So if you are actually seeing around 15.0, then your "true" MPG hit really should be closer to about 0.1-0.2 MPG.
